I have been answering the door all day. I'm making a special parcel for my friend's birthday (when I say special, I mean gag gifts) and I ordered about 13 things from Amazon and they were all sent individually.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Cross-post with Pyxis, Sunangels seems perfect to me, what do others think?
My freezer got switched off accidently, so this morning I'm cooking all the food to then refreeze it after. Sigh
Oh! I bought a blue and turquoise wig!! Is so weird to see myself with straight hair instead of dreadlocks, but I love it!
I've been looking at wigs and got my next one picked out.....I think. But its a frippery.....and the rates household is on a massive scale back.
I have been, at times, been able to be some what profligate, and other times had to be very shrewd indeed. The last few years have been easily sensible, and the last couple sensible but easy peasy.
For the next year firs salary is going to be fraction of what we have grown used to. Not even half. We are lucky that this is a new adventure and not penury, but it does mean I will have to be extremely prudent and progress on the wreck that involves outlay for services, and really much for materials, will not go ahead this year.
There are tremendous benefits for fir in this situation short term, and potentially longterm, and the possibility we will see each other much more! Otoh, he will probably also be undertaking a course of study during this year too and his student mode is pretty full on too!
Still it promises to be an exciting year. I miss working seriously ATM more than ever though!0 -

Hahahaha! You made me laugh, elsien. Yes, lets not choose audience, I immediately visualise a huge theatre packed with people staring at me. Eeeeek! Bystander or supporters is fine though!
That sounds like a really exciting year, LIR! I am really happy for FIR! I am sure you can adjust to having less money coming in especially as you get to see each other more and you are both doing this for a great opportunity! It might be a bit difficult at first but together you will cope with it. When I had to leave work I went from having £450 a week left in my hand which was a lot in the 90's, after bills, food and everything else was paid, down to £83 a week for everything. Being a young fool I hadn't saved a penny of my salary and spent it as soon as I got it. It was a learning curve but learn I did! It can also be quite fun budgeting or maybe that's just me. My OCD loves making spreadsheets and recording everything.

These bits are how I feel, definitely not spread sheets, and some frustrations about some pauses but relishing other challenges and fun. But mostly thinking how lucky we are that this circumstance still leaves us ok whereas for many others might be disaster.0 -
We have got ducks! I took pictures because I thought I might have hallucinated them but no, breeding pair of ducks.0
