The police would check it out anyway before they did anything. I will happily grass for you, if need be.

I am sorry that you didn't find the police sympathetic in your attack. Perhaps you could give them some feedback on the way they handled it if you are feeling stronger now.

The police in our area seem very good.

Am flapping!! Have been thinking about volunteering with rainbows/brownies for years. Finally got the nerve up to enquire. They've emailed me back and now I'm having a panic! They'll think I'm a freaky spinster that's going to steal children. They'll run rings around me. I won't be able to do it....and lots of other excuses running round my head.

I have to stop talking myself out of everything because I'm too scared to try.

This is supposed to be my year of reinvention...but am such a wuss.

I'm a mixed mood :o . I mean on the one hand, i'm actually really happy, work is going well and things with Swain are very good, but i feel, guilty somehow. It's hard to accept things are actually going ok. I'm used to life screwing up and it feels weird when things are going smoothly. I think i feel guilty for feeling happy. Also i'm aware of my mood and am alaways suspicious of things being good as usually my mood will crash and mess it all up as it has many times before.

Also i'm feeling a bit meh about my family. :( got a text from my sister the other day saying they'd been in the shopping centre i work in, i asked her if it was just her or a family outing. she said it was the whole family. Turns out my bro and sis are home for easter and my other sister is home too. So the whole family is there. Except me :( Sometimes i feel really left out. Wanted t go back and see them but i know if i ring my mum and ask (because unlike my siblings i can't just go home) she'll probably gob me off and tell me its not convenient (as happens everytime i try and go home to see them). Growing up i always felt a part of the family, since i moved to uni(10 years ago, this has been going on a while) i don't, and that makes me feel sad. :(

MU, you do sound a bit confused about it all. Why are the family shutting you out (if that is what they are doing?)
