Hahahaha! I can attempt to visit an animal for everyone!
I have already met an axolotl, elsien! They had him in a tank when I saw the penguins. Here he is-Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Duckbilled platypus please.

It's late, I should be going to sleep as I have to take eldest to the doctors in the morning for an ECG but I have gone into anxious/OCD mode which will make sleep impossible and me probably even more anxious as I will have nothing to occupy my mind.
Had to take middle son to doctors today as his throat is bad and during the routine checkover, they discovered something which requires an ECG for him too. I really don't know how I will cope with another one with heart problems, it's bad enough eldest having problems but his are potentially less severe (although bad enough!)
Argghhh!
Edit - Going to give sleep a try...wish me luck!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Must dash. So. Damn. Tired. Taking my ex for hosp appointments today - coz I'm awesome. Bring on the energy drinks! All day in a freaking hospital *grumble grumble*

Well, I managed some sleep, not loads but at least I got some sleep. I refused to come back online though, I just read lots, wandered about the house, played with the cat, drank loads of tea and napped in between. We made it! Re exercise/getting fit. The biggest thing I regret with my now broken body is I can no longer do the things I used to do.
To think I used to do dance training for hours each day, every day (I was a ballerina) and now, I can't even dance for 30 seconds and if I try, I end up completely beggering my body.
That said, I am trying to gently stretch out the joints and doing a few (literally 1 or two) reps to try to tone things up, I have to be ultra ultra careful doing it as things dislocate so easily now but it has shown me that if controlled, I can still look (well if you ignore the baby elephant body that is) and feel graceful...even if you have to wait ages for the move to complete and then to be dismantled again. I can only do it for about 5 minutes per day though and even that leaves me in a lot of pain.We made it! I'll get a swedish one done soon and then look around to see where I can get a sports massage.
Without having to sell the cats (joke).

Shame we are so far apart, huh? We can get on here though. There are special and dear people here.
Hope you feel better today0 -

You CAN do it for five minutes a day, but should you be trying? I worry about you Sue. We share the ability to have a blind spot and lack of wisdom over limits and ability.0 -
Limits? Are those the things where you see black spots and nearly pass out? Or is that just me being daft? :P
I had a go on an exercise apparatus called an OMNIA last night, it was all resistance work and it was great.
Two more days to fight through, then a lie-in...
