  • Could you hold up saggy yoga trousers with some stretchy braces?
Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.

No, huge boobs, no where for braces to go. :o.

Its weird, I won 'to wear leggings because I'm too self conscious, but I 'll wear lurex gold tights and shorts. ( I did have lurex gold footless tights but they are too holey). Realistically black leggings or trousers would look better:D.

If gold lurex footless tights are what you want to wear, then you should wear them.

I always think the smartest people at gyms or dance classes are those wearing really old shabby clothes - looks a lot more professional and serious about keeping fit! :D

Warning: they hurt a lot! I was nearly in tears when I had my first one done. But I was injured. I had one done last year after a race and was laid there falling asleep. She then dug her hands in. Well, that was one way to wake me up!:rotfl:

If you're short enough / your feet are small enough, you may get away with buying kids running gear. I sometimes do this as the shorts are quite a bit longer and don't ride up as a I run.

Ive had a swedish massage and that was bad enough. But I felt great after. I also had a couple of shoulder massages and the girl who did them was great, but one day she was busy and I got someone else who massaged a lot deeper, my god, the knots. The thing is, when you do as much exercise as I do, you have knots everywhere, there's not one bit of me that someone would do a sports massage on that wouldnt make me go through the roof in pain, but I need to get to it.

Im unfortunately five foot 1 with size 6 feet, I actually have smaller feet than my mum who is a size 5 but she has slim feet and I dont so I need a size 6.

Hugs, Melly, I hope you get some rest tonight.

I had a series of sports massages years ago and they really helped me. Although the first one was agony, particularly on the muscles at the side of my thighs. Where my muscles were very weak due to not moving, sports massage actually started to build muscle without me having to exercise which was handy as my arthritis wasn't controlled then. I had no idea that they could strengthen muscles at the time but I could move far better after 4 weeks.

I totally recommend them, fortunately mine were done by a just qualified friend so free, I have no idea how much they cost normally. It's worth it though.

30 quid an hour around here is the going rate, but I spend most of my life pretty skint, hence getting other types done, my local college does them for 20 quid an hour, but they dont offer sports massage. I'll get a swedish one done soon and then look around to see where I can get a sports massage.

We need a list of animals for WaS to visit on our behalf.
I will make a request for an axolotl. I have no idea what is is, as the tank with the sign on was empty, but it's just such a good word.
Who else wants WaS to be their animal visiting substitute?
