Think it's going to be an over-emotional day. Have already cried twice at the story of the mugged pensioner and the charity donations.0
-
(I need to clarify that this was a very positive story, because some people will see your reference to it but not follow the news. The ghastly thing was that a pensioner was mugged. The lovely thing is that a neighbour tried to raise £500 for him and ended up with - from memory - about £135,000! - and he's fine and they have become really close friends.) :J:Ex board guide. Thanks JM
Yes - crying in a good way at that one! The last I saw, the donations were at nearly £300,000!! I cry that he was mugged and scared to go home
, then I cry that someone started an appeal for him
, then I cry that so much was given
:)
Then I realise that I need to do some work!
ETA: just checked - over £320,000 now0 -
The chap lives about 5 minutes away from me. in an area that's usually really safe
Apparently he's going to buy a nice little bungalow with the donations

Not heard from Beau. I'm feeling harsh but i'm leaving him to it and just trying to keep my mind from worrying over things. I've accepted theres nothing i can do right now, and i can't let it stress me out.
Gonna spend the remainder of my day catching up on telly and watching films (maybe some disney films, they are an instant pick me up for me)
Hope everyone is ok...wondering if you're all snowed in right nowThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Uhuh, you have all stolen my snow again...
Ouch code, look after that back!
You know what is scary. Sitting on the toilet and a mushroom dropping on your head, that's what. The mushrooms are attacking!
I had a paranoia attack earlier. WaSp watches professional gamers (yes, that is a career) on Youtube to get tips on how to play his games. The guy who is his hero streams live every day and if you pay £2.40 he will let you play a game of your choice with him and you get invited to exclusive streams. So I did it for a surprise for WaSp as he is feeling so awful. I was just about to tell WaSp and then the guy who was streaming at the time (to 900 people) suddenly shouted out the username I had chosen and thanked me profusely for the money. I ran into the bedroom and dived into bed until I realised that he had no way of knowing who I actually was. Then I felt stupid. WaSp is excited, though!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
