Hahahaha! Oops! I forgot about your mushroom phobia, MU! I am sure they don't purposely drop on people's heads!

WaSp is extremely excited and doesn't know which game to choose and so is playing them all to see what he is best at. For only £2.40 it is a very small price to pay for something that will keep him amused and happy for the next 2 weeks. It is also quite cute that he said "Wow, the guy said your username!" He really is his gaming hero.

Here is a little fun game. My american friend has an assignment on her psychology course to define peoples perception of the word ugly. She asked me what I found ugly off of the top of my head and I immediately said those who are cruel to others without provocation to serve their own needs. She was surprised because everyone else she has asked so far has given visual examples like boils and trolls, etc. So if anyone is bored, off the top of your head without thinking about it, what do you think of when you hear the word ugly?

    Feet.
If they weren't essential, I'd abolish them.

I've decided today working from home can have its disadvantages. Mainly heading for the kitchen when I'm bored/distracted/avoiding difficult tasks/etc etc. I'm eating myself out of house and home and spending a fortune. Obviously it's only the unhealthy stuff I'm going for.

Edit - blasted auto correct has a mind of its own. I don't usually make this many mistakes.

MU, new PJs and Disney films sounds like a lovely evening. Take care xx
WaS, mushroom on the head is just freaky!! I would have fallen off the toilet!
elsien, I have eaten a large dinner, some chocolate and a whole packet of biscuits. Am considering jaw-wiring!
  • It's not just me who has suddenly gained an appetite then? I am never normally hungry due to my messed up thyroid function but for the last few days I have been starving. Last night I ate my dinner and half of WaSp's, I have no idea what's happened.

It's the cold. I've got carb overload going on, mainly in the form of cake. How anyone can eat salad in winter is beyond me.

Edit - complete change of topic. Heard today about someone who was considering ECT re chronic depression and was really surprised because for some reason I didn't think it happened much any more. (Then again, my main info source prior to this was " one flew over the cuckoo's nest.") Does anyone know anything about how often it is suggested nowadays?

  • Yes, carbs! I am craving potatoes all of the time, it's ridiculous.
