  • Penguin, in answer to your penguin:

I'm sure it will be fine. Your vicar may only be coming just on a friendly visit.

But if you don't want her to come to your home, how about offering to meet them elsewhere? Like a coffee shop or some other neutral territory.

Either way, I'm sure you are not in trouble.

    End penguin.

Poor Monday! It's very misunderstood! And it is the victim of an arbitrary arrangement of days for the working week! :D

Tea, would it be possible to give her a quick ring and ask her what it's about? Even if she doesn't want to discuss the matter over the phone, she could just confirm or otherwise that it's to do with the H&S.

Oh Mellymoo! How can it possible be OH's fault if it's the others putting her in a hospice? What is aunt thinking of?

Oh melly, that's horrible. How can they possibly justify that the decision is your OH's fault?!

Bearing in mind that your MIL doesn't want to go (who would??), could it actually be a good move for her?

Penguin for Tea: I wouldn't worry, you won't be in trouble and she has absolutely no right to tell you off for anything! She might just be doing a good deed and checking on her 'flock'?

The Rainforest sounds wonderful WaS! I love reading about your adventures! :) It's fabulous how nice everyone is to you too :)

Hugs for everyone feeling ropey today. I'm really tired (so much so that it actually hurts a little!) thanks to a small person waking me at 4am so work is a biiiiiig struggle today! Counting down the minutes until I can go home! :o

The hospices around us are wonderful places, and they let people reaffirm their relationships with family members without everyone feeling exhausted due to physically caring.

My family members who do the guilt tripping are usually feeling very guilty themselves. It is wrong but they try to shift the guilt to make the pain bearable for themselves.

I got my email sent off and feel flat now.
