My mum is having a nice lazy day apparently my dads back of his business trip today so she has good company

I'm all excited because I'm off to see one of my favourite bands tonight, I've waited years to see them,and I'm going with a friend. Then tonorrow I'm going to Swain's (lol that might take getting used to) then work Tuesday and possibly seeing him again Wednesday/Thursday

Lol i've checked and rechecked my gig ticket and the gig is definitely tonight! and i know which venue i'm going to!

I know today (m day) can be hard for a lot of people for various reasons (I have friends who've lost their mum, friends that have lost their little uns, and friends who can't have chldren so i appreciate its not a nice reminder in that situation) but i hope that whatever anyone does they look after themselves and try to relax as best they can. It will be over soon, and then nobody has to think about it for another year (im not saying its something you stop thinking of just that there won't be as heavy a reminder as today).

Have made some summer fruits and yooghurt muffins - smell amazing, look awful, taste somewhere in between.

Also made some leek and potato soup for this evening and that tastes lovely Now I just need to stop tasting it!

Am working on breakfast muffins. Can't eat when I first get up so need something quick and easy I can have on the go later on. Get v bored with the same things all the time. Today's muffins are only 88 calories so that side of it worked ok.... not sure I'd make them again though! Looking forward to trying some different ones out next Sunday.

Now.... got a free afternoon with the being human boxset

ps - Jeeves and Wooster yesterday was amazing. Would say it's the best play I've ever seen. Spent two hours solid laughing out loud.... so much so my stomach hurt :rotfl:.

Had a lovely day with my sister and niece - did some shopping, quick look around Birmingham art gallery and museum (always need more time there), amazing theatre trip then stuffed my face at Pizza Express.

Had been looking forward to it for months and the day didn't disappoint. Now I just need to get something else booked to look forward to
