bump! need someone help before I call them!:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

I have just received TWO new cards from Abbey, both with the same expiry date AND 3 digit code on the back!!
Valid from date states on them 06/07 although the person on the phone said to me the reason it was late was because it was 'under 6 feet of water'??? Are Abbey just lying to me?
I'm in the same position now! Another card arrived this morning which is identical in every way to the one I received yesterday (including the security code on the back!)
Which one is the right one?0 -
Jeezo..Duplicate cards ...This just gets worse and worse . AND I still have received nothing from Abbey .I have a complaint letter almost completed ready to send to Milton Keynes .All it needs is for me to wait until the card etc arrives so I can finish it and get it in the post .0

I'd suggest you do not tell Abbey cos if they cancel one it might cancel both and you'll be back to square one and you don't want that do you ?0 -
I don't know what to tell them?? They seem to just argue right back at you on the phone and leave me in a corner! The guy I spoke to yesterday had no empathy whatsoever, basically argued everything I said as if they had done nothing wrong!:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

Did you phone Card Services on the 0800 Free number . It's shown above in another of my posts .Ask to speak to a supervisor or to be transferred to the Complaints Dept in Milton Keynes .0 -

Abbey really are in a mess. They have also been using the wong mailing lists. They sent a 15 year old in my family a letter regarding changes to the "abbey current account", yes cause a 15 year old is going to have one of those!!! :rolleyes:0

This just gets worse for me. I have received two cards. Both with same card number as my old one, and both with the same security code on the back. I have been trying to log onto my online banking. It lets me log on to the front 'balances' page, but not into the account itself. Just tried again and comes up with an error code and says I have been logged out.
I am really not sure what to do. Usually I am quite upfront on the phone etc, but I think I feel quite apprehensive because its a bank - if you know what I mean? And confidence has dropped slightly since the last person I spoke to was so very arrogant and unhelpful. Any tips on what I should explain to them when I call? Will try the 0800 number on Monday and ask to speak to complaints/supervisor but really not sure what to say?
Thanks:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0
