But homosexuals in my home city of Manchester are apparently not happy to drink with and/or socialise with others hence their contrivance of a gay village.

I dont frequent burger bars but in any dining situation, i would have no idea if there was a homosexual in my immediate vicinity unless he/she made a point of highlighting it,though why they would, i could possibly know.

Total tripe! Not everyone who socialises in Canal Street is gay and those Mancunians who are gay could be busy enjoying themselves in any bar or club in the city.

Next you will be advocating that anyone who is gay should wear a pink triangle so that they are identifiable ...... because it worked so well for the Nazis.

I'd rather they intervened when anyone was snogging, regardless of gender. Last thing I want to see when I'm eating (I use that term loosely iro MacDonalds) is people with their tongues down each others throats.

This is exactly what I was going to say. Each to their own, but I really don't want to see snogging in a public restaurant whether gay or straight. Time and a place and all that...

There won't be any. Homosexuality is well documented in nature ;).

Although to be fair though most species probable identify as bi, as they don't commit to a single sex for life and just have the occasional same sex fling.

There are exceptions though, notably domesticated sheep, some rams will refuse to mate with female sheep completely and only "do it" with males for their entire lives.

This is an old chestnut sometimes used by homophobes. The man didn't have his tongue down someone's throat , and Maccy d's is hardly a restaurant.in addition you seem to have overlooked that the doorman claimed it would be ok for a straight couple.. Which kind of destroys your argument.
I find the thought of anyone giving anyone a kiss on the lips quite charming, whether gay or straight.

All for them being gay - just don't do it where people might complain.

You mean not in the "posh " part of medway? ( where?!)

It's not like straight people aren't allowed. I went there once with a friend (both straight, both male) and the bouncer obviously spotted that and said "you won't be causing any trouble will you lads?"

Neither of us had any issues with homosexuals obviously and we just wanted somewhere to drink late (it was probably around 4AM) so well, we told him that we were only there for the beer.

In we go and aside from the unisex toilets (I feel sorry for the ladies that have to sit down to use them) both of us had a good time without being hit on or made to feel uncomfortable in any way.

The female Highland Cattle in our conservation grazing herd mount each other too - it's called "bulling". My little dog, Gisele, also attempted to sample the (rumoured) delights of Sapphic love with her Giant Schnauzer friend Betty, but Betty would have none of it.

If it was just a quick peck that the male couple exchanged, as opposed to a full-on tongue wrestle, then I'd agree that the security guard was way out of line and deserved his punishment though.

Just read about this in my local paper online. Said security guard has been banned for life from working in any branch of McDonalds.

    A positive career move then..
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Ha ha this just reminded me recently another male dog tried to get frisky with my male puppy.
The embarrassed ( ?!) rather shocked posh owner , suggested to me that I was mistaken about the gender of my puppy
(He must be female as her dog was straight!!??) he he

What planet are some people on?

Do you have to make some kind of declaration of sexual orientation at the door or does the door supervisor possess special powers of perception?

Could I ask how old you are?
I have a theory you are heading for pension age?
