So by definitions a and b, homosexuality is natural.

If we considered everything in nature as natural then there would be no need for the word "unnatural", and one of us should write to the dictionary people about such a huge oversight (it won't be me).

Eh? Clearly man-made stuff isn't natural, yes you can argue that humans are natural so what they produce is also natural but then the word no longer has meaning. Obviously unnatural usually refers to stuff that is man-made.

Not disagreeing with you, but merely point out that it is unfortunately not as simple as "happens in nature, therefore natural".

(This is also ignoring the fact that nature, as we see it, may actually be unnatural. Physicists are developing some interesting theories which pertain to this possibility)

Such as? There are all kinds of weird theories including that we're all living in a hologram, but that doesn't make what we see "unnatural", more like an illusion. Nothing to do with "nature".

I fail to see why my own experience of online homophobia and actual homophobia being perpetrated mostly by Caucasians makes me a bigot *confused*.

There is considerable homophobia from hip-hop performers but many, despite the raunchy backing dancers etc are Muslim and this may be a religious thing rather than anything to do with race.

There are countries with laws which discriminate against LGBT people even in European countries eg Macedonia. Making LGBT relationships legal, doesn't mean that other laws can't discriminate.

Laz123 is dead wrong if s/he is implying that environment is the usual route to homosexuality, but there are circumstances in which males turn to m/m sex eg boarding school, prison and maybe that aspect does warrant more research. If women do the same in large numbers then it's less well-known.

I really dislike the idea that something went *wrong* with me ie a gene defect or incorrect hormone levels in the womb. But who knows, research so far shows that LG people are more likely to be born in families with many siblings, that there are facial structures which are common amongst gay men, that many gay men actually do have a lisp, that there are genomes which crop up frequently amongst gay men.

In the case of gender dysmorphia, it does seem that a hormone imbalance in the womb can cause a child to be born with a male brain and female body or vice versa. I've been told this by trans people I know, all of whom are FtoM trans.

A lesbian couple in Sainsbury's in Brighton were ejected by a security guard for a quick kiss, last year. Two gay friends who were singing songs on a tram in Manchester were followed as they walked through Piccadilly Gardens and set upon by 15 men last autumn.

Before that, at Halloween two gay men were assaulted by a homophobe in London - dressed as a fairy. Also last autumn, a gay man had acid thrown in his face outside a gay nightclub in London and a gay bar owner in Manchester at Halloween narrowly avoided being stabbed in the eye as he closed up. Oh and another incident happened in Manchester when a gay amateur rugby player had his jaw broken by a straight guy who just walked up to him and punched him, in the gay village.

And then of course we have ISIS who throw men alleged to be gay from the top of buildings in Syria and film it.

I find all this homosexual talk to be quite disgusting. It leaves an incredibly poor taste in the mouth from all this liberal filth that quite literally gets shoved down our throats.

Can we please not have a return to tradition family and religious values of wife beating and child abuse?
