You don't really see many people kiss in public at all these days. I don't think I've ever been in McDonald's and seen anyone kiss each other.
I often see men walking hand in hand, I imagine you just don't notice it as it's not really that unusual these days.I've not noticed men holding hands at all...but I guess I live in a pretty religious area, that might be part of it.

What a sheltered life you lead. Having an Eastern European father, I was brought up with it being perfectly normal for men to kiss each other as a greeting. When I meet my brothers, I still kiss them, regardless of where we are.
Have a look at http://www.vocativ.com/culture/lgbt/photos-a-history-of-kissing-in-russia/ No one ever suggested that Kruschev was homosexual (Putin, I'm not so sure! lol)0 -

You find it unacceptable that I believe some people find homosexuality disgusting?
You find it unacceptable that I believe that sex exists for the purpose of procreation?
You find it unacceptable that I believe in free speech?
You find it unacceptable that I believe that prejudice should be challenged and debated?
What narrow minded views you hold!

Actually from a psychological aspect homophobia usually stems from adolescence, when the impressionable young developing mind is confused about latent homosexual feelings, those deep down feelings. It's perfectly normal for a young teenager to have sexual stirrings for a same-sex person and most people have them, I certainly did; it's all part of a normal growing up. What often happens is the decision is taken after this short passing of a 'crush' that a choice is made whether to become hetero or homo. But the human mind and subconscious mind is a complex piece of kit and for the person who had fleetingly experienced this 'abnormal' (and I use this term as how someone homophobic would view it) feeling and it so abhorred them all memory of their thoughts on this matter disappeared deep down into their unconscious mind to never return... until they become confronted with someone or something gay. In fact their homophobia is really a fear that THEY TOO COULD BE LATENTLY HOMOSEXUAL, and this is the most frightening thing to them. I hope this explains what this type of phobia (a fear of something) really is about.
I wonder if the guard would have complained if it was two lesbians. Food (or a Quarterpounder with cheese) for thought.

there is a number of things I found in your posting as offensive which I am not going to debate with you on. what i would say, is have a look at the guidelines on moneysaveringexpert. In regards to "free speech" there is not free speech on this site. "disgusting" - people need to keep those feelings incheck
I wholeheartly believe prejudice should be challenged, i experience that every day.
not sure where you going with thought police, just be mindful what you typeTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0
