There was a programme a few years ago where they reckoned that female relatives of gay men are more likely to be "super" hetrosexual, ie have a much higher sex drive than the average woman. Might explain it...

Yeah exactly, it does seem to be a bi product of high re-productivity (or a higher sex drive).

Says who except for you? Who is obviously someone who has already made up their mind.

Without hearing both sides of the story you can't take the story as being entirely truthful.

It seems unlikely that anyone would object to two men just pecking each other on the lips.

To me it's much more likely that their was more to it than that.

The fact it was a peck is what the gay guys say. Nobody impartial to the story has commented on what sort of kiss it was.

It's more likely to have been more than a peck and based on the story there will be a lot more to it.

thats your perspective. gay guys? The term "peck" is used and carried out by all straight/gay/lesbian/bi people.

You're saying without both sides of the story but yet you already seem to have decided which you recon is the most likely. That shows enough to me that you have already made up your mind.

But seeing this planet is never going to get any bigger so spiralling populations just simply aren't sustainable perhaps things above our control (or maybe shall we just call them natures natural ways) have made a natural way of population control?

Did you know there's a connection between sexuality & high breeding. Basically gay offspring on average have more brothers & sisters than straight children. It gives the obvious sign the homosexuality is a bi product of high re-productivity which will obviously have an effect on the population of an entire species.

It could be natures way of controlling the population, however if it was natures way then it would be unnatural for gay people to be mothers or fathers of children. Which I don't think is the case and one of my friends has just had a little boy with his partner (via surrogacy). I wouldn't like to tell him it's against nature to do that.

When a story appears in the papers which is slanted to one side of the story I always suspect that there is more to it.

I'm not saying that if they had snogged for ten minutes they should have been told to stop I am just saying I would be surprised if it was "just a peck".

I was wrong, yes, but with lack of information it is dangerous to form an opinion without considering possible alternatives.

This is not about information, you added all sorts of things which is completely unnecessary. Maybe a large plane could of crashed into the front shop, or a tank could of driven down the city centre. None of it related to the information presented, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

But how often do you see that happen? I don't think I've ever seen two men kiss in public (other than in gay bars etc, or mates doing it as a laugh, or obviously platonic eg a grandad/grandson). Or even hold hands. Women yes, but then when women go arm in arm it's not necessarily a sign that they're lesbians.
