Are you suggesting that certain age groups possess greater powers of perception? Are there certain signs that i should look out for should i choose to go on an afternoon of gay spotting? If you could let me know soon , i shall practice as i shall be out in Manchester on Sunday.
So you are close to retirement age.
I can't help with your question about gay spotting in afraid.0 -

No-one has a right to complain and get a gay couple thrown out of McDonald's or anywhere else, merely for kissing. LGBT people have the same rights re: that as heterosexuals.
If you're advocating that gay men shouldn't kiss in public you are being homophobic.0 -

I dont frequent burger bars but in any dining situation, i would have no idea if there was a homosexual in my immediate vicinity unless he/she made a point of highlighting it,though why they would, i could'nt possibly know.
Update on that - the council has given permission for a heterosexual male-orientated strip club to be sited in the centre of the gay district.0 -
I'm not a great fan of reporting. It strikes me as being as weak a crying to mummy when someone is being nasty to you. It's an anonymous forum and reporting a post that offends you is just a bit pathetic.0

so a strip club with women as strippers?
As the gay village is by definition gay doesnt a strip club that has naked women dancing in appeal to the lesbian community who also frequent the gay village?
I'm confused as to how a strip club can be hetrosexual as they're not brothels so it's eyes only. Therefore how can any strip club be specified as homo or hetrosexual?
Men dancing will attact hetrosexual women and gay men
Women dancing will attract hetrosexual men and gay women.
I'm therefore confused over what a hetrosexual strip club is!0 -

Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Bit of a silly post..
Given similar evolutionary steps I would imagine that any other species would be able to develop homophobic traits (assuming they do not already possess these).
Also, you suggest that such attitudes are learnt ("homophobia is taught") - does this mean that you believe that evolution is a "taught" process? Did we develop the tools to express homophobia (as per your above image) simply through the learning process? I hate to burst your bubble but natural selection is a much more "random" process and if you trace it back far enough then we would presumably (again, as per your image implying that currently only 1 species can be homophobic - unless of course you aren't a fan of Darwin) be incapable of expressing homophobia at one point in our evolution. It is more likely to be a by-product of the fact that we re-produce heterosexually, and homosexuality is therefore not good for reproduction (and the development of language, of course). This is also the reason why you cannot completely assume that any other species does not express homophobia (we do not have the ability to understand any language they have developed, but some people do have a good crack at it like with birds or dolphins etc).
I like how you identified yourself as "gay" though. I've always been curious as to why this country obsesses in not only labeling each other but also why they feel the need to share such a fact with complete strangers. Ultimately, the fact that you are "gay" does not give you authority on the subject ESPECIALLY on a forum like this where you are much less likely to converse with a homophobic person (and more likely, in general, to come across those who are bi curios/gay). Also, nobody cares about the bible. In our existence it represents an ideology which has took up a TINY fraction of time.0 -

MSE has rules which posters agree to adhere too.
The MSE moderators' preferred response to homophobic comments is that they are reported.0 -

Um hmm how do I put this.. gay women will often not want to be socialising with straight men, given that straight men often fantasise about threesomes. Some straight strippers may not be overly keen on being watched by gay or bi women.
Straight/bi women in my experience don't have a prob with socialising with gay or bi men, but some straight male strippers might have a big prob with being watched by gay or bi men.
Generally, a club with female strippers will be aimed at straight men.0 -
