The dress in the eBay photo looks much better but it's got a petticoat under it which is probably why it puffs out more.
There's always got to be that one person! Luckily white doesn't suit me at all, so it won't be me this time :A
Mines got a built in petticoat, maybe it's because it's a second hand one it's lost it !!!!!! a bitSealed Pot Challenge # 421

I was pointed to these people not massively expensive and the dresses look smart for a wedding0

What about looking in charity shops or borrowing wowing an outfit? To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0

Oh wow, there's some lovely dresses on there!
OP, when I went to my friend's wedding I wore a big butterfly on my head like a fascinator, it just clipped to my hair. There were loads on Ebay, all colours. Another friend was looking for a bluebird as head wear, Ebay had some of those too.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

There is a website called Lindybop which does some fantastic vintage style dresses for a very good price. Most are around £30 and they have a good sale range at the moment. Some gorgeous dresses, very unique and you can dress them up as little or as much as you want.
Take a look - I think some of them would be perfect for a wedding, while remaining comfortable and stylish.
Edit - Cripes, gettingtheresometime got there before meI can vouch for the retailer though!

Apologies for the quotes, I have no idea how to do multi quotes

I was just looking at some of those dresses on ebay. I love the style, just got to be so careful as ones that fit me in the chest can be way too big on the waistThe joys of an hourglass figure in modern times!
"What about looking in charity shops or borrowing wowing an outfit?"
The dress I'm asking about is a charity shop one £4.99 :T. I always keep my eye out when I go in them just incase. As sad as it may sound I don't actually have that many friends, and none that I'm close enough to borrow clothes from (well ones that would wear dresses anyway)

I've been looking on ebay, there's so many pretty ones to choose from. I usually just clip my hair, so it would kill two birds with one stone.Sealed Pot Challenge # 421

Thanks gettingtheresometime and KatieDee...Not sure my bank balance may agree
Like I've already said I love the whole rockabilly etc style, but I've not got the confidence to really wear it or anywhere to really wear it lol!gettingtheresometime wrote: »KatieDee...I have my eye on a couple of their dresses.....I just need the events now :rotfl::rotfl:
