I think that would be fine then. Nb I'm one of the people that's not keen on black at weddings but only because of the funeral connotation, with the red it's definitely not funereal so go for it. What does your partner think?
I'm not a fan of black for weddings either, that was my main concern with the dress, but others have though of things I'd never considered. Though some of issues would be the same due to the style of the dress.
He's not seen it yet, though he would say I look good in a bin bag tbh! He can't see the imperfections I seeSealed Pot Challenge # 421

I definitely wouldn't wear that dress to a wedding - I think the pattern is just too bold.
Had a quick look in some sales for you. How about any of these?

Thank you ever so much for those, I will have a search in a bit. Currently hunting on ebay.
Trying to pull myself away from the whole rockabilly style. Think I'm going the black and red dress in for the evening doSealed Pot Challenge # 421

if my opinion matters, I think it's perfectly fine for a March wedding, especially if you aren't usually a "dress" person.
fine black tights, black jacket thingy, black shoes & bag and if you insist on the silly things a red fascinator and you'll look fab0 -
I think the dress is fine personally, if you like it and you feel comfortable in it then wear it x0

All opinions are greatly welcomed
I've got a black jacket somewhere, so will look it out and see what it looks like with the dress.
Not too fussed about a fascinator, just seems so many people either wear one of those or a hat. Having not been too many weddings I have no idea about what to wear really:oSealed Pot Challenge # 421

If you feel comfortable in the dress then wear it. It's possible to dress it up a little with a jacket and fascinator, and some thin black tights will be classy and keep you warm if it's cold. I think a red fascinator will help your outfit look more wedding-like and reduce the amount of black you are wearing. I think you should look for a nice necklace as the dress being strapless means there's space for something to be shown off.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

I got married last year and couldn't tell you want anyone was wearing other than a wierd aquantance that wore white!
The dress in the eBay photo looks much better but it's got a petticoat under it which is probably why it puffs out more.Married 30/08/14 :heartpuls0 -

I was actually surprised how comfortable I felt in it! I just don't want to be the person that everyone looks at and goes oh dear.
My only concern with a necklace is that I will play with it and could lead to a red mark on my neck which happens a lot with me, which will not look very prettySealed Pot Challenge # 421
