    Evening all

Too tired to remember anything properly tonight so hugs, spoons, sticks, vibes to all! I think all the work in the garden then shopping has worn me out! I want to go to bed but I'm just waiting on my phone finishing charging. Which reminded me I had a phonecall from a number I didn't recognise (Everyone who calls has a name, even if its "Sales call" :rotfl:) and just looked it up. It would appear it was a recruitment/training agency  I can only think that they must have dialled the wrong number.

Not sure about my walk tomorrow. I'm aching all over atm, so I may take another route somewhere else which is closer. Then again I can't remember if the gasman is coming tomorrow to do the fire? I think I'll play tomorrow by ear. DD has drama after school in theory unless the teacher decides to give them this week off due to exams, so its not a problem if I leave later and I'm not back by 4pm;)

Week: Gas man coming to fix fire surround I think.
    Tue:
Wed: DD Exams start, HT 3pm for the first time since November!
    Thu: Order c4
Fri: Exams finish, pizza takeaway for tea ;) Clean livingroom
    Weekend: Ex here Sunday.

    Misc:
Laundry - 2 loads done. I'll do the rest later.
    Toots list
Clear 3 folders on hard drive back to laptop
    Update finances
Work through folder of magazine articles I've pulled
Type up recipes to keep & file them, chuck originals (magazine pages usually ;))
    Walk [STRIKE]10.5[/STRIKE] 8.1 miles minimum - done 2.4 today :D I'm on target 19/365 so far ;)

Pigpen I agree it's so sad about Anne Kirkbride.I met her and her husband many times as they were regulars in my store when I did the "paid thing".Lovely, friendly down to earth lady.

    RIP Deidre....a true legend

that is the difference with the older generation and these young whipper-snappers.. they were so ordinary and normal which gave their characters character.. these young un's are so pretentious ..

Morning all, not the start I'd hoped for today. I think one of my freezers may be broken, water all over the floor but fortunately the food inside still ok, but trying to get the contents of 3 freezers into 2 hasn't been easy and some of the cheaper items have had to go, or be put in the fridge, so my menu planned has changed somewhat for the rest of the week.

Anyhow, just had breakfast, time to wash up and I think I'll have a quick dust of the bedroom while I'm up there getting dressed. Then the usual - walk dogs and the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all thank you for the lists natty and dusty, I'll try to be in this week, quick meeting at work yesterday re new regulations when working with children so paperwork needs to be filled in, meeting in the evening re DS2 field trip. Today I'm waiting in for car tyres, I'm hoping they don't come while I'm at work as all I can do then is put a phone number on the door and see if I can run home.
Aiming for a square a day or as long as I do 5 a week I should get blanket done, love the pattern thank you pigpen.
Hugs good wishes and posi vibes to all I'll try and get back in later to do a catch up read.

    Morning all.

 Jazee - glad your food is still OK. Think my older F/F is giving up the ghost too. It's producing a lot of water, but the good thing is that the sensible design means that it is contained in the bottom of the freezer and freezes. However, if the ice gets too thick, it makes it impossible to get the bottom basket out!
minerva, congratulations to your OH. Hope you both enjoyed your celebratory meal.
Did you have a better night, LW? Sleep deprivation is not fun.
HB, I hope you find your GUAG. I understand what you mean about having things at eye level.
Dusty, how lovely to have one of those poppies. You sound exhausted by the frustrations of last week. Hope you can relax a bit this week.

I got up at 5.30 and have finally swallowed a fast-growing frog, i.e. completed and submitted the charity Gift Aid claim :D I only do one claim a year so each time I have to work through the notes and make sure I'm doing it correctly. It's not really difficult, but I am always fearful of making a mistake.

    Today's remaining jobs:
    - 2 postcards }
    - 2 phonecalls } hopefully all these will be done before we go out at 9.20
    - 1 email }
    - SW
    - deliver two cards
    - download choir parts
    - download photos from camera
    - print photo for lounge
    - hospital visiting this afternoon (take another friend with me)
    - shortlist designs for stoles for DS2

Quite a lot carried over from yesterday. Hopefully I won't fall asleep after lunch today :o

Morning all. In town today as dd has a horse -piddle appt. Hoping to get some bits done while we are there :D and then should have a couple of hours free this pm to do some flying :)
  • Morning all - sad news about Ann Kirkbride.

Hugs sticks and spoons to everyone.

Great news about your OH Minerva

LW thinking about you and hope you slept better last night. We have "given up" and sleep separately now - one of us snores and wriggles a lot and it was disturbing the other. Marital harmony this way - but double the bedding to wash!!
Jazee sorry about your freezer loss.
Just off to deliver some more charity bags then to SW for weigh in. Think I have put on a little but am wearing so many clothes inorder to keep warm I think I'll be OK today!

When I get back I'll get on with clearing and cleaning the laundry cupboard - can't really call it a room it is so tiny - it is a dumping ground and needs a good clear out.

    Catch you later.

I love this sleep tracker.. however the numbers I'm seeing aren't conducive to life .. Last night 4 hrs 2 min .. the longest sleep has been 5h 32min.. no wonder I am permanently exhausted!!

Nursery for Dot today so B&Q, the range and Tesco it is.. my life is so exciting.
