Hey Guys..... if you don't mind can i join you

    Welcome aboard

    Rubies well done

Dentist said no problem with my teeth but I have TMJ and that is what is causing the pain; I need to not yawn, eat soft food and stop clenching my jaw plus hot towel and painkillers when it gets too bad.

Did loads whilst I was out
    Petrol in car
    Ring to be fixed
    DS3 birthday present
    return to shop
    bit of shopping
    collected DS3 script

Just had soup for lunch, going to find out how the bird feeder needed up on the ground and refil the sunflower feeders - looking forward to the weekend bird watch.

Ouch Dusty that doesn't sound good :(

My pain is still in the stratosphere (I am really not good in the cold weather!), but I have managed to clean the sink and the stove top today so happy with that!
    Must use my stash up!
  • Morning!

Going to catch up on the thread with a coffee before I get stuck in. (Not procrastination! Honest! :D) For now, here's my list...

Mushy Monday ~ Living room and other reception rooms!
    Vacuum floors
Sort through a bookshelf.. a different one to the last time you did it!
    Vacuum under furniture
    C25k Week 2 Day 1
Dejunk my clothes drawers for a charity collection

Tempting Tuesday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Area
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Declutter and wipe work surfaces
    Sweep and mop floors
    Wipe units/appliances
Clear and wipe a cluttered fluffy shelf!
Tidy, clear and wipe the top of the washing machines and dryer
Clean one small appliance thoroughly.. microwave, kettle, iron,
    Sort the utensils

Still have 2 sickly children at home which, as I work nights Mon-Weds, messes with my sleep pattern a bit. Not complaining, just means I tend to take things more slowly and look for convenient times to nap :)

    Have a great day!

    Dailies done.
    Kitchen done
    Birds and cat fed
    Towels washed and on airer.

Temperatures very low up here this morning. Saw reports of a few accidents and a few people mentioned bad driving. Roads apparently like glass. Why do people not drive safely. Hope those involved are ok. I've not been out but I'm at doctors later. DD brought my dinner for me.

Received the info for the Bird Watch. Will read that after a make a brew.

    Hugs,spoons and sticks where needed.

    Hello and welcome!:o

Bit better night last night, in that I didn't get clobbered; I mentioned the phrase "sleep on the sofa" and I thought the poor man was going to burst into tears!:( I also said that if it happens again, we might try rolling up one of the "doghouse cushions" (they're ancient floor cushions that have very little stuffing left, so could be rolled up to form a bolster-type thing). I'm probably being too soft on him, but he genuinely has no memory of hitting me, and can't quite believe that he'd do such a thing.:(

Anyways, I suggested a technique to start with, of repeating a "No Hitting Wolfy" mantra as he drifts off to sleep, and whether it actually worked, or whether it was coincidence and he'd have been quiescent last night anyway, I don't know. We'll see how tonight goes.

Unfortunately though, I still laid there awake for most of the night. So I'm tired, if not so battered today.

OK, let's have a look what's on today's "official" list....

Tempting Tuesday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Area
    15 minutes...

Wipe and replace small appliances Done
    Declutter and wipe work surfaces
    Done
    30 minutes to spare...
Sweep and mop floors All Dys0ned yesterday
    Wipe units/appliances
    Done
Clear and wipe a cluttered fluffy shelf! Done
    Got an hour...
Tidy, clear and wipe the top of the washing machines and dryer N/A - it's under a work surface, and those were done under the "15 minute" slot
Clean one small appliance thoroughly.. microwave, kettle, iron, To do
    Clean deterrgent drawers To do
    Extras
    • Clean paintwork Need assistance to do this.
    • Order and organise the packets and jars and tins. All are fine; reorganised when we had the kitchen done, and I'm being careful to keep them tidy. Cupboard under sink likewise.
    • Sort the utensils.. half melted spatulas are not necessary! Done when we had the kitchen done; nothing there we don't need.
    • HHI.. then wash the ironing board cover! Mr LW's province.
One thing I do want to finish today is sorting out proper storage and labelling for those dratted CDs. It may sound like it's taking an age to do, but I want it done properly, with lyric sheets, nice labels, the whole nine yards.;) Whether Mr LW ever gets around to playing them after I've done all this remains to be seen..... :rotfl:

I really sympathise. It must be awful for both of you. (((hugs)))

I have a friend with a serious sleep disorder who hits her partner, she has no memory of it, but she's broken his nose & his collar bone before. Could you talk to the GP about it? There are things that can be done to treat it.

Taken DD3 to get her meds, fed us both and now I'm going to S&S the kitchen after cooking lunch. It amazes me how much mess is generated after making one meal

    I like your style.

OK ladies tell me something. You go to the loo, the toilet paper has run out. You get a new roll out of the cupboard and when you are done with it do you take the empty roll out and replace it with the new one? No, you just put it on the floor and leave it there. Why? For ****s sake - is this too menial a task for the rest of my family or do they just think thats what I was put on this earth for???

    Sorry, rant over. And breathe.

I am just home from job number 1. Some work to do on job number 2. The kitchen floor is really really filthy. And dont even mention the utility room. And the dog needs a walk. Leg of lamb in the oven for tea.

    Better move myself then!

If we can't sort this without resorting to the GP, I'll get him to ask when he goes for his next meds review, which will be due in April. Unfortunately GP appointments are like hens' teeth at our surgery; plus we don't relish the idea of yet more tablets, for either of us. But it's an option we're keeping in reserve. It's only got really bad since he was in the horse-piddle for four nights last September; I'm wondering if he's somehow re-living the experience.:(
