I have to get the sleep issues sorted. Basically, I'm naturally nocturnal; and these days it's made worse by Mr LW snoring, fidgeting, and with increasing frequency lashing out and hitting me while he's asleep; it's like he's dreaming he's beating the carp out of someone because it's not just one thump, it's four or five, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, hard on my arm with a clenched fist, but in the morning he remembers nothing about it.:( We don't have a spare bed, so I can't decamp to the spare room for a break (and even if we did, he'd be upset if I did that) so I don't really know what to do now.:(

He must have misunderstood, Lamewolf, or wouldn't he be upset he's "lashing out and hitting me while he's asleep; it's like he's dreaming he's beating the carp out of someone because it's not just one thump, it's four or five, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, hard on my arm with a clenched fist." I've quoted it as above and here, in my response, because while I accept he's asleep and therefore not responsible for hitting you - he's hitting you. Therefore either you (or him) decamping to the sofa until the violence ceases shouldn't upset him too much, should it?

I've been looking for my GUAG for days and finding it absent. Today, I've sorted a couple of kitchen cupboard muddles, and swept the floor and done a bit here and there but I'm absolutely exhausted by the idea of very much more. However, I've been saving three clear shelves of a cupboard in my office for treasures and have now realised that four boxes on the floor (again) are driving me mad and am about to decamp that clutter to the empty shelves. I can then see everything at eye-level and might be able to re-home it as and when I have some mental energy to work out where it all belongs.
    Better is good enough.

I'll put the idea to him, though he's always very picky about "his" side of the bed; even when we're on holiday he always insists on the right-hand side.
Anything's worth a try at this stage, though.:o

Kitchen Done! Prefer to do this Monday if I can.

I seem to be a little less tired after work this morning - and tomorrow will be the first full day, fingers crossed it goes smoothly!

    Minervawindsong Congratulations to OH!

    Bird feeders done.
Plus about 2 hours of weeding etc, till the sun went down then it got very cold so came in.
    Dinner done.

LW you need to do something, even if it does upset MRLW, I know my Oh would be mortified if he hit me even while asleep, long pillow thing between you sounds good as piggers said, swop sides, get him on the sofa for a week.
May be (I think you said he play an Xbox type thing) get him to turn it off earlier so he 'unwinds' before bed. You MUST do something, for your own sake and sleep pattern.

I'm declaring mine done as it was all done on Friday. I do need to Hoover again tomorrow as the dog has trailed mud through the house again.
The garden list sounds interesting. Mine's a disaster!

Congratulations minerva hope you enjoyed your celebration

How lovely dusty to have a poppy when you thought you'd missed out!

LW surely he wouldn't be upset? Unintentionally yes, but if you're getting hurt then surely there's no question???

Not a lot done here today, only been in for 2hrs earlier so kids dinner made and sat with them while they are, then got ready to go out. We are fairly straight here though.

WFH tomorrow, yaay, although not many tea breaks as we've a school meeting at 3.45 about converting to academy. Not really sure what it will mean for us. But, saves on travel time and cost, and the extra 20min in bed is very welcome!

    Right. I'm off to bed!

Thank you so much Dusty for last week and Natty for this weeks lists.

Huge apologies for not getting back on the thread to update last week, I have no idea where the tail end of it went but the flying continued and a huge amount of trolley bags of clothes left the house at the weekend for the charity shop and a couple for the tip.

As for this week DH helped by doing the floors while I was at the paid stuff although 1 walk of doogie later and they need doing again!

Lots of poorlies so healing vibes to you all, congratulations to Minerva's OH on passing his probation. Love and hugs to everyone else xx
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
