Dusty I meant to say before but your kittens are gorgeous - so sweet! I bet they make you smile
Pigpen hope the smear goes OK; sorry about achey hips - must be horrid.
Hard start to the day today as DS not being co-operative but somehow we managed to make it to school on time! Had to jog though and already got bad knee so it's rather painful now. So far I've put dishes in DW, got load of washing on, done some paid work and let the chooks out. Haven't walked the dogs yet - Whiz took one step outside, decided brrrrr, too cold, and ran back to his bed! He's lying right snuggled up beside me as I type this.
Want to do what I can from the list and have to take someone to local town as she doesn't drive and has an appointment so I'll pop into L**l and get some milk and veg. Plan is to drop R off and then take bag load of stuff to charity shop and then pop into the bakery next door and get a lovely hot Cornish pasty.

When I go to Mr A later I need to put £6.43on my savings card! I've got this through money saved on multibuys at all the shops I go to and PG from Mr A :j I'm hoping to have maxed out the card by the bonus day. At this rate I'll have 2 cards!
Going to boot my laptop up so I can get on with admin stuff. That should clear almost my entire Misc list!Hoping to go for a long walk tomorrow if I can get everything done today. I have my first official weigh in at the doctors on Wednesday since my last appointment on 20th Nov due to 2 cancelled appointments! I'd really like to be able to register as having lost a full stone since I started so I need to loose at least 2lbs by then! Easy for me if I get out walking like I did before the holidays. Might actually go out for a walk later as well, but its too cold and icy still to be going out for a lap of the park.
Catch you later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning
I have just stopped for a :coffee: having decluttered a jumper, an old T-shirt and a heap of old receipts and labels in the bedside drawers as I was putting clean clothes away, and I also chucked a load of old paperwork from the filing shelves in the study as I was cleaning in there before breakfast
We're expecting a visitor from Germany on Saturday, so Friday will be the day to clean the house from top to bottom. Atm my shoulder is very painful and my back aches (probably as a result of lifting DGS3 out of his cot and/or putting him into the car seat) so I am leaving the heavy lifting to DH :A
My list for today:
[STRIKE]- Dailies
- WMx1
- Clean study
- Move PC (ask DH)
- check finances[/STRIKE]
- 4 phonecalls
- 1 email
- 2 cards
- print off Bring & Share Pudding Party details for social committee
- Gift Aid claim
- download photos from camera
- send files to DC
- print photo for lounge
- download choir practice parts
- hospital visiting this evening
That should keep me chained to my desk
Hope everyone has a good day with sunshine x0 -
Pigpen, if you catch this before you go, they might be able to do the smear with you laying on your left side. Your legs will have to open a bit but not as bad as when its on your back. The only trouble being they might not be able to get a good enough view of the cervix so might still need you n your back if they can't. (cervical cytology sampling was the course i went on last week
) Is it pelvic girdle pain afflicting the hips? I still have it 2 yrs after birth of smallest one so understand where you're coming from
Have dne post office, @sda, put away clothes and have a cake in oven, wm on.
Cracking on with list now0 -

There isn't room for any position other than on your back.. I had my left leg resting on the wall so it wasn't too awful, that Is my worst hip. I have PGP and arthritis in my legs and hands/wrists so while they are rarely cold (see, a plus to the pain) I am usually in a lot of pain.
I was quite impressed.. they got it done first go! It took 4 attempts last time and they got the dr in to do it eventually.. but was nice and quick today.
Why do we say 'thank you, bye' when we've just had them scratting about up our nethers?? Yeah, thanks, just what I needed on a cold and frosty morning!!

Hi - quick catch up.
DW done
Washer loaded
Parcel posted - PO offer of £2.80 per parcel up to 2kg weight by 2nd class post - so cheaper than I thought and it means 4 books decluttered to friend of DS.
6 km walk with DSis along the prom. Fantastic views towards Barrow and the Lakes' mountains are all covered in snow. Such a clear day we could see how the wind farm has developed massively in/ off Morecambe Bay! Then we had a coffee on BOGOF offer at new C**ta. Seem to have got into the habit of "playing hookey" so need to get on now! Unfortunately books on offer at 2 for £1 at our charity shop so I bought 4! They are being put to one side and not begun yet or else nothing will be accomplished at all today!!
About to have an omelette for lunch then attack the paperwork mountain and the bookcases in the study.
Must check this Konmari stuff you are talking about to see if that'll help us.
