    Thanks for the list Natty.

I'll take a look at WDYTUA show, is it good?

I'll worry about the list tomorrow, off to bed.

Hope you get some sleep Mumto5 and that DS3 is on the mend.

Just popped on to message FRODDINGTON: really sorry, DH just reminded me we have theatre tickets for 18 April, but if you do arrange a B'ham meet I can do Friday 17 April.

Froddy, please keep me posted on the WDYTYA Flylady meet. At the moment I can do any of the 3 days (might go twice anyway!)

Ok, looks like this is worth pursuing :D Maybe a lunch meet on the Thursday and a WDYTYA day on the Friday??? Hmmm - will have a think!

Dusty - I went to it in London last year and loved it. Loads of information, workshops, talks etc. and also stuff to buy!

List ready for tomorrow - night all, sleep well xx

    Mushy Monday ~ Living room!

    Declutter and vacuum floors
Dust all electrical appliances and polish screens
    15 minutes filing
    Sort through a bookshelf
Vacuum under furniture you can move safely
Check smoke alarms and if needed change batteries to new ones
    Clean out pets

  • Can I join you this week please I took part last week but did not post house looks better then it has in ages done so much declutering still loads to do though we want to sell this year. I found myself looking forward to finding out what room I was cleaning next and kept looking out for the thread. Fly lady defiantly puts the fun in cleaning normally I get so disheartened I give but but seeing each room as one day rather then the whole house in one go is really helpful.

Thanks Natty I'm in this week :D

    Mumto5 - hope DS3 is feeling better.

I've cleared my ironing pile tonight :D I'm going to try and have an empty basket every Monday morning ;) I'm sticking with my "no windows or outside jobs" for the time being. Both skips outside are overflowing as someone has come along and dumped beds on them! Honestly, I looked out the window, went to the kitchen to put the kettle on, walked back in the livingroom and there was a divan bed complete with mattress & bedding dumped onto of an already overflowing but acceptable skip! They're blooming quick round here :rotfl:

Week: Gas man coming to fix fire surround I think.
Mon: Collect books from school, Post uncles card
    Tue:
Wed: DD Exams start, HT 3pm for the first time since November!
    Thu: Order c4
Fri: Exams finish, pizza for tea ;)
Weekend: Ex here Saturday as normal I think.

    Misc:
Mr A shop (things I forgot)
    PG receipt from Sunday
Clean bathroom - post my bath
    Change my bed
    Laundry
    Toots list
Clear 3 folders on hard drive back to laptop
    Update finances
Calender update with new work dates
Work through folder of magazine articles I've pulled
Type up recipes to keep & file them, chuck originals (magazine pages usually ;))
    Walk 11 miles minimum

    Mushy Monday ~ Living room
    15 minutes...

Declutter and vacuum floors - Done Saturday but will need doing again before the weekend :rotfl:
Wipe sofas and wash any smelly soft furnishings Done Saturday but will need doing again by Friday.

    30 minutes to go...
Dust all electrical appliances and polish screens
15 minutes filing and 15 minutes deleting rubbish off the computer.. useless emails, old files, updating spreadsheets etc
    Got an hour...
Make any important phonecalls you have been putting off I have the window man to call, but they can't exactly come and replace the main windows especially upstairs when there's 6 workmen next door dealing with the hoard and traipsing all over the front of my house as well so waiting until they've gone before I make the call. Sometimes having a house straight onto the pavement is a pain :(
[STRIKE] Vacuum under furniture[/STRIKE] Done Saturday
    Extras
    • Clear mantle of junk, wipe/polish and return all pretty things..
    • Empty and wash out any bins
I'm off to bed now. I have the feeling its going to be a long week. :(

CY Whittakers Fish & Chips in Cheadle Hulme is still going strong though not as good as it used to be and yes you do come off the M60 into Cheadle. There are 2 junctions one either side of the village.

What a good memory you have!!!

Ooooh we must meet up one time when I am dragged to the outlaws.. OH has rellies in Cheadle... not far from his folks in Heaton Mersey .. I think a flybody needs to organise a meetup when we are there.. and we can do an en masse.. I'm miles from everyone else.

  • Hello, I'm back :hello:

Thanks Natty and Dusty for respective lists.

Have had to reduce my flying over the last 2 weeks, thanks to being on a course, but the strangest thing is that the flat is starting to look more presentable than usual. I only managed to do between 1.5-2 hours per day, usually between 4 and 6 pm, but the difference has to be seen to be believed :j
Will definately keep to the timetable I set myself to get to the course on time as it seems to be working!

Right, nodding off time, so "see" you all tomorrow.
