Pigpen - phew glad it wasn't too awful. I had swabs taken a little while ago an attempt to get a coil fitted (still haven't done :() and the sh*t dr pushed my legs down which were at breaking point anyway. It made me worse for months - hence no coil yet.:rotfl: Since I went back to work I've been cycling 2/3 days a week which although I was scared would make it worse has actually strengthened it I think. I've also been doing yoga which has definitely helped with all the muscle tightness and spasming that happens around the joints. 2 yrs on I can walk, stand and cycle. Still can't swim or dance and I get pain when pushing heavy doors open or supermarket trolleys with wonky wheels. Which is progress because any door or trolley used to half kill me. I'm grateful that I'm not as bad as I was, but still a bit sad that I'm only in my 30s feeling like my body's seen better days :(. Nothing compared to many on this thread so I'm not moaning really. Like I say I'm grateful for the walking and standing bit never mind the rest.

I can walk for about half an hour.. school runs kill me, hence we drive. I can't cycle I don't think I never could swim and have never been one for dancing but I couldn't if I wanted to now. Mine has improved.. I can get in the over-bath shower now, its over the bath and while I need a step to get in and out I can do it just. I can't sit in the bath because I can't get out again. Trolleys and heavy doors are killers, I agree.. I stick to shops with 'magic' doors and use the autodoor opening for disabled users.. they have them on the chemists and the bank.. I just kill my legs if the post office doors are shut.

It is better, I can stand without crutches though walking far I should use them, but I feel silly so won't.

My last smear was 2008.. I've been pregnant whenever I've been sent reminders and 3 babes in 4 years meant a lot of pregnancy in a short period.. ;) I got moaned at for not going but they won't do them if you're pregnant or bleeding so I didn't get much chance!

I need to call the school medical room re DS3 and the diabetes nurse but I need my writing pad and I can't find it!

I still to sort the repairs on the DW and WM.. I think the WM just needs the buttons cleaning.. they are probably full of child grot.

Thick frost here with what looked like a sprinkle of snow when I went down to feed horse, but lovely and sunny now.
Got one load of washing on line.
    Changed bed linen.
Did some tidying and decluttered a few clothes and dross from bedroom.
Shook heavy bedroom rug out of window.
Was about to vacuum when Mr N decided he could do that if I hung out washing as that's too heavy for him yet.
Went round all mirrors and pictures in the house with the duster and Wind0lene, and the newly found (lost under a chair for weeks.........) feather duster.
    Wind0lened glass in front door.
    Answered a few emails.

Short walk with Mr N next (resting on bed currently after the vacuuming) then lunch.

Lots of birds on feeder but still no fairies. Hope they are getting some food somewhere.

Hi, just a quick question, does anyone know if there is a thread like this but for gardens? If you can do this to my house, think what wonders could be done to my garden :)

Not that I know of, there used to be a garden shed, chatting group a good while back but it died off. Start one, I'll join you but then I'll do even less house flying.

I've washed up and used up some left overs ffrom the weekend for my lunch.

Going to empty the DW, mop the floor and put the WM on, if I can drag myself away from watching the birds feeding, caught one on my newest feeder for the first time - it was a finch, possibly bull.

Oh post just arrived. Lovely DS1 had ordered me and Mum a Poppy from the tower - how sweet, we both missed out on ordering but he had obviously got in first. Mum will be delighted.

    Afternoon all

I saw the workmen struggling to put stuff on the skip due to the sides not being high enough so I offered the stuff from my yard again ;) Its all gone except for a very old & broken sewing machine and gas fire, but apparently the young lad is going to have a word with one of the other workmen and they might take it ;) So I've cleared my yard of a years worth of leaves, sweet wrappers and the like so my wheelie bin is now half full despite it being emptied this morning :rotfl: Really hoping that whatever happens to the house next door, they get rid of the blooming sycamore tree!

Going to get myself sorted now to run to the shops for a few bits I forgot yesterday. I wrote a list and still forgot stuff :o

Week: Gas man coming to fix fire surround I think.
Mon: Collect books from school, Post uncles card
    Tue:
Wed: DD Exams start, HT 3pm for the first time since November!
    Thu: Order c4
Fri: Exams finish, pizza takeaway for tea ;) Clean livingroom
Weekend: Ex here Saturday as normal I think.

    Misc:
Mr A shop (things I forgot)
Laundry - 2 loads done. I'll do the rest later.
    Toots list
Clear 3 folders on hard drive back to laptop
    Update finances
[STRIKE] Calender update with new work dates[/STRIKE]
Work through folder of magazine articles I've pulled
Type up recipes to keep & file them, chuck originals (magazine pages usually ;))
Walk 10.5 miles minimum - I have a 7 mile minimum walk planned for tomorrow weather permitting ;)

    Mushy Monday ~ Living room
    30 minutes to go...
Dust all electrical appliances and polish screens
15 minutes filing and 15 minutes deleting rubbish off the computer.. useless emails, old files, updating spreadsheets etc
    Extras
    • Clear mantle of junk, wipe/polish and return all pretty things..
    • Empty and wash out any bins
Off to grab some lunch so I don't go shopping while hungry. ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Oh yes garden flying sounds much more fun, but I think a national one would be hard to organise as it is so dependent on weather - not like indoor stuff where you can designate a room each day. There are a few things I could do at present, but being Essex/Herts clay it is all so wet I'd probably damage more by trampling on it. It's hardly ever worth my while sowing much before March as it's too cold here in the soil. The Telegraph has a good gardening "what to do this week" in the Saturday paper and on their web site.

Don't forget everyone it is the RSPB Bird Watch next weekend; for those who haven't done it before, you just watch your garden for an hour then fill in on the web site what you have seen (they have pictures). It's nice that they keep a check of what the bird numbers are like.

I keep off my garden at winter, because of the clay, however gonig to have to put my wellies on in a bit and go on the grass as the kids' next door have put their ball over the fence, and it seems they don't have another one they want to use................oh we have plenty but don't like them,..............but they asked nicely so I don't really mind.

While I am out there I will do the bird feeders as well.

    Wm still on the go
