YorkshirelassFellow sufferer here. I'll match you and raise you recyclable tins, bottles and packets that are left on the worktop. About three paces from the recycling basket

Oooh dont even get me started on that one :)

Well, the utility room was worse than the kitchen so I started in there. Have given it a thorough clean, will hoover and wash all the floors in a bit. It looks loads better.

I need to knuckle down and do an hour on job no. 2, otherwise I am going to get behind with it. Have made a jammy sponge for pudding so will feed them that first.

LW hope you get something sorted, sounds awful.

    I like your style.

OK ladies tell me something. You go to the loo, the toilet paper has run out. You get a new roll out of the cupboard and when you are done with it do you take the empty roll out and replace it with the new one? No, you just put it on the floor and leave it there. Why? For ****s sake - is this too menial a task for the rest of my family or do they just think thats what I was put on this earth for???

    Sorry, rant over. And breathe.

No.. I go to the loo and the paper has run out I mountaineer on the loo to the shelf and get some more down, replace the empty one putting the tube in the bin and put a few spares on the side.

If OH goes to the loo and the paper has run out he reaches up, gets one down and puts it on the side.. sometimes he gets 4 or 5 out.

If anyone else goes and the paper runs out they pretend they can't see it until one of us goes and sorts it out.

But yeah, everyone but me is incapable of putting the new roll on the holder.

We're all ill here :(. Nothing done today.
Nobody in my house does anything towards rubbish removal.
DH does most of the cooking as I refuse to do it anymore after all the complaints. But he leaves the kitchen in a disgusting state which pees me off.

Aww pigpen she does look like dot x

Lol, I just remembered, I was on my way out last night and I heard DD(4) saying to MIL "no granny, like book but with a f" :rotfl: I stumbled out the door trying not to squeal with laughter - thought I'd let her deal with that one hahaha

School academy meeting was interesting. Pretty sure it's a foregone conclusion so the consultation was a tick box exercise but sounds like a good move anyway.

Not much done again apart from dinner, laundry, kitchen and paid stuff. Might go look at the lists...

I wish I'd done the oven now. How long should handwashing jumpers take? I seem to have been at it for hours.

Car has been for a service and mini vallet. ££s decluttered. I decided to walk home but took a detour to my parents home down memory lane ( the way I used to walk back from school) spent the day there then collected car. Popped in the hens' shop for supplies as heavy snow is forecast.

I have just made Twinks and eaten more than I should.

DH is crashing around the kitchen so I had better see what's up.

Evening all. Sorry HB can't help with the handwashing question as I don't buy anything that needs handwashing (or ironing) if I can help it.

Piggers - lovely piccie. Pixie is growing up so fast.

I am on here to report that cushion cover making is complete. I can barely keep my eyes open now.

Flying wise tonight - I've washed up after tea, that's it.

Re toilet rolls and recycling - same in this house. And if DH notices something needs doing, he doesn't do it, he says "When are you planning to do that?" But he has other qualities.

Right going to try to stay up for another hour, planning to sort the freezer in the morning. DH doesn't think it is broken, just that it got too frosted up, so we will see. Oh and do some dusting in the HSL.

    Welcome einsclean.

    See you all tomorrow.

Back from cricket, DS3 took a ball to the thigh so a huge bruise is apearing.

HB I hand wash a few things, put them in swoosh them round, leave for 10 minutes, give another swoosh, rinse and then I reduce the spin and stuff in the WM. I use the dreggs of shower gel or shampoo instead of buying separate stuff.

Kittens fed and now chasing around.

I've had a whisper bar and now a wine chaser. Need to hurry DS3 to bed. Half day tomorrow for him.

I want snow, none forecast here though.
