    Morning All

I wanted a snow day! But it looks like DH may get one! Not fair!

Off to work I go then and I'll see how I get on later on. If DH is staying at home he can hoover the stairs!

    Have a good day all

    Morning all

Positively mild here, no frost even. Mogs fed, off for a shower and to wake up DS2. Not much hope of flying today, walking wtih friend then DS3 has 2 friends here for the afternoon (it is one's birthday so I said I'd take them bowling and make a cake). No cricket tonight though as DS3's back is hurting.

Take care if you have snow ladies.

Have wiped paintwork & polished mirrors in HSL, quickly hoovered through house, sorted freezer out (now switched on), two washloads done although not all on the airer yet, and dogs walked.

    Still haven't heard from DH.

Paid stuff now, catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • The snow is turning to sleet. Work could be fun - 58 kids away on a residential but several lunchtime staff away with them. If it turns out to be a wet playtime covering all bases will be nigh on impossible...

Re flying - it will recommence today. Got sidelined as I have another UTI. Antibiotics seem to be working, though...

  • Morning everyone.

Iona - me too heavy clothes that is! Think I had put on a half from last week so still under my lowest. We went out last night and walked back in a scattering of snow - but all gone now.

Mamaninie - where are you based now? Hope your DH's journey was fine. We're not all bad in Lancashire! There are some beautiful villages around Preston.
Dusty - bruises - a cricketing nightmare - take it you use arnica cream?
Got to fly off for walk with Dsis. Catch you later.

We have the white stuff! An inch or so settled overnight and it's been snowing again, so covering up our footprints from the school run... And still coming down now!

Kiddies had a ball on the way to school, bless 'em.

Thank heaven I can work from home. Told DS friends mum to call me if she struggles to get home this aft and I will pick her kiddies up too. We have DD swimming later, will see how it goes today. She really wants to go as she only needs to jump in without holding hands to move up a group - and she's just done it this weekend.

Depending on paid stuff (determined to finish at 3.15 today, with no extras!) I may get a hhc in at lunchtime, but if not I'm not too worried.

I am most definitely not working Thu / Fri this week :T hurrah!

Glad the ABs are working CY x

    15 minutes...

Tidy everything you can see when the front door is open!
    30 minutes to spare...
Dust and deweb.. dnon't forget lightbulbs and shades!
Scrub front door.. inside and out!
Wash any curtains/draught excluders and doormats
    Got an hour...
Empty and declutter the cupboard under the stairs.. you do not need the junk that has been in there for a million years!
Degunk, dejunk and clean the porch.. how many pizza leaflets do you need to wipe your feet on?
Declutter the floors and vacuum them.
Empty Vacuum cleaner, wash filters and clean brushes once you have finished vaccing.. leave to fully dry before rebuilding machine!
    Extras
    • Wash windows and nets/blinds
    • Wipe and water and furry plants
    • Wipe paintwork and door knobs
    • HHI
    • Sort coats and bags and shoes
I shall do what I need to do off this list but I shan't be scrubbing the outside of the front door in this weather - they men in white coats will be round here sharpish if I do - and I doubt pleading that it's on the Flylady list will help my case!

I have also got lots of 'bitty' frogs to deal with so I am hoping to get some stuff sorted!
