Oh CY thats terrible, poor lad :(

I'm feeling a bit virtuous. I've cleaned under the kitchen sink and evicted a carrier bag full of carp. I've tidied the overflowing hat / glove basket. I've also washed the kale and it's drying off for later. Have also booked airport parking with a very nice discount. DD has made a card, but she is nattering about nothing today. She wants to do DS cake now - but we are picking him up from school soon. Gah.

I'm going to see what else I can do for 15min before we set off...

That's a job well done, cars now look almost cared for. I may get new mats for the little car if they are not too many £s.

CY so sorry to hear about the job, he will need to find out why. Fingers firmly crossed for him.

  • Hi - Thanks Mum of 2 I did take your advice - unknowingly - and have showered, and watched Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and Atonement. A good cry does wonders.

CY sorry to hear your news - posivibes heading his way.

CY every posi-vibe I can muster on it's way. Poor chap; quite apart from the practical aspect, I can't imagine how that will hit his self-esteem.

That Frog I mentioned on Wednesday needs to be finished up - I just have the "back legs" to go now. But after three hours sat on the floor, I'd had more than enough, and decided to leave the remainder for today.;)
I'm away now to chomp on "Frogs Legs". Yuk. I knew I wouldn't want to do the tail-end of the task. Lots of self-discipline about to be applied.

Found and eaten. It was lovely - I can still taste it.

I am too tired to do anything else now. Am going to snuggle down on the sofa for an hour with soporific daytime TV, otherwise I won't be fit to drive this evening :o

DD2's fiance has just phoned in a terrible state. He has lost his job with no explanation. Flat purchase probably over. I am speechless.... What more c**p can happen to these 2? Dread to think how DD2 will react.

So sorry CY, sending positive vibes to your DD's fiance. Here's hoping he can find another job quickly and they don't have to give up on their purchase of the flat. Hugs xxxx
