I wish you lived near me - I'd gladly pay you to sort out the front garden with me; Mr LW loathes gardening, and I'm scared to be out there alone; plus of course I'm not physically able to do any heavy work now.:o
Oh maybe in the spring I could come visit, you could leave me out the front under instruction and pop in and out as you felt like it so no pressure if I scared you. Oh and you would not be paying me it would be a pleasure.
Natty, I have a similar recipe which uses rhubarb - a 20.5cm tin makes a deep cake which takes a while to cook or a 23cm would make it less deep and probably take less time to cook.
Boys all home and fed and infront of the fire watching tv, all look very glad it is Friday.
Just doing my dinner (they had pasta which I don't eat) and then I may do a little paperwork, I have made no progress whatsoever in the RofD.:oThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

CY, hugs, how long had he been at the place that sacked him, if it was over 2 years ,then he might have a strong case against them.

Cy that is fair unfair.
Well I can honestly say that the kitchen, school and work clothes are all done. First time ever.
Oh is a total KH, not impressed with his attitude, kicked off because I asked him to switch off the bedroom light. Totally ignoring him, no need to act like a child. Two grumpy kids turned them off straight away and looked in disgust at they father.
Honestly what is it with tantrums this week0 -
Aww I've made DS favourite steam engine out of fondant icing ready to go on his cake. Mr A didn't have liquorice wheels though or bootlaces so I'm not sure what to use as track yet. He also wants a train station so will browse Pinterest for inspiration. The train looks very cute though.
That's about all I've done tonight other than clean up after dinner and have a cuddle on the sofa with the littlies. Oh and DS read to me. He's getting very grown up
We have a party tomorrow then it's one for DS on Sunday. Must wrap gifts and write cards and remember to take them.
Dusty just a thought re you needing your outdoor time, are you getting enough vitamin d? Sure you've got it covered but you never know xxBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Bossy probably not actually, last year I did take vit D sups from dear FiL (he was a chemist) but I don't like the ones I've got now so they are in the cupboard, I'll get some spray next time I'm in town - thanks for stating the obvious - sometimes we need that x Sorry I can't help with track ideas.
Been snoozing on the sofa with the kittens and the fire whilst DS2 watched the football.
Off to bed now, think I'll start a new book. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
