Yeayy, there's a big gang of us here now!! :T
I stayed this same this week, which was not unexpected given some little extras have been creeping in that I don't need. :wall:
Time to re-focus if I'm going to get another stone off before holiday!!
More happily though, some jeans that I've been too scared to try on (in case I still couldn't do them up) actually fit now. I've been a bit limited in what I could wear, but now more items are coming out of the wardrobe that I haven't seen for a while!Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0 -
Ah there's nothing more motivating that suddenly being able to fit in previously too tight clothes! Well done Rosie x
I'm afraid to report I'm not having a good day... I totally forgot to get anything out of the freezer for my son's dinner and, being the fussy monkey he is, and form of quick to cook things like eggs/beans/etc is a no go, so he wanted chips from the chip shop... after the day I've had, I gave in and joined him. Now I'm feeling rubbish and compounded my rubbishness with a penguin with my cuppa. Time to draw a line under this one methinks.

Day 115, 32 points.
Bad head, will catch up properly tomorrow, waves dramatically and exits left.0 -
OK fully recovered and ready to GO. I didn't drink enough water yesterday which gave me a very bad headache.
How lovely to see some new faces joinng with us long termers, it is great to have more joiners on the never too late, never give up thread.
MeandO, 1.5 lbs never to be seen again, that is really good, be a bit kinder to yourself your life must be upside down at the minute, hopefully it will get easier and you will find a new rhythm for you and your son. I read all of your thread yesterday and think you are awesome!
Hiya Quidsy and welcome I hope that your weigh in goes well.
When is your holiday CWR? Mine is mid July, I want another 2 stones gone by then. I hope you get your mojo back this week - great news on the trousers so nice to have new things back in wardrobe rotation.0 -
Always one to be seduced by a gadget I have bought a spiralizer.....................now need the courgettes to start delivering.0

lol, I ordered a nutribullet yesterday as I struggle to get my veg in. Am type 2 so want to avoid too much fruit but my friend swears by veg juice every day to keep her blood sugars stable.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Thanks so much for your lovely words Tootallulah, and well done on reading the whole thread!:D Glad your head is better now too.
You're right, I am hard on myself and I do feel like I'm pretty much rubbish at everything, but I guess that is a self-confidence thing which I've never really had much of to be honest. I'm working on it though, and the weight loss definitely helps.
Back on it today after last night's blip.
Crunchy bran & fruit for breakfast, spaghetti on (nimble) toast for lunch, fruit & yoghurt snacks and I'm off to Mr T at lunchtime to buy myself some lean meat and light veg to have for dinner. My little boy is at his Dad's tonight, so I'm going to make the effort to cook myself something.
Ooooo, off to google what a spiralizer is.... :rotfl:
Quidsy, lost of people I know swear by the nutribullet thing. I'm not one for thick or juicy drinks myself, but I wondered if it was a good way of getting some fruit into Ds.
Have a good day all

I read a lot of online reviews cause it isn't cheap but a lot of people saying it is easy to clean etc, I have a mssive juicing machine that is a nightmare to keep clean, also this is a make & go type thing, you just stick the lid on & can drink whilst out & about. Another plus for me. Added to that I can make ds some smoothies with hidden veg, he loves fruit but not so keen on veg so if I can hide some in a smoothie then I think it will be worth the expense.
I'll let you know how I get on with it.
And I'll also post some freezer meal recipes later. These are family favorites & well tested by my 7 year old.
I'll also post someI don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

I hate smoothies but nearly did get a nutribullet but luckily I remembered the two food processors, the mandolin and the mixer.........which still doesn't explain the spiralizer.0

Day 116, 40 points.
Whilst drifting around Poundland today I spotted the big bags of skinny sea salt popcorn with 6 bags inside - 52 calories, 2 points, also Walkers Baked crisps, 3 points. Both of these are a horrendous price in Waitrose so that was a good notice. I need to add a bag of something to my lunch some days so I don't get the urge to nip into the nearest food shop on the way home. My treat snack of choice has been Twiglets but I do like the sea salt pop corn a lot, I swerved the baked crisps as I don't know what they are like and I don't eat a lot of crisps, has anyone had them?
I have a day off tomorrow and am going to start slightly belated spring cleaning.
I had smoked haddock with poached eggs and asparagus for dinner it was delicious!0
