Thanks Izadora. I am going to try and do a hard core week of 34 points a day and not use my 49 extras if I can do it, I should lose 2-3 lbs which will get me back on track to really hit May hard and get the next 10lbs gone.

Hello lovelies, I lost 5lbs which is just half a pound short of the 5 and a half I gained over Easter! Back on track now, and hoping to have a really good few weeks before half term.

Speaking of which bits of us lose first... my feet always lose fat first! I have also noticed it going off my bum, but it's my tummy that needs to lose it and of course that isn't any smaller!

  • Well done all - for losses and determination to keep going!
I seem to be struggling at weekends at the moment, I'm not really sure why - whether it's out of boredom, rewarding myself for a good week...probably a bit of both!

I did make a batch of white chocolate and raspberry ripple muffins for work and not a crumb passed my lips though!

I would like to have lost another stone by the time we go away at the end of June (girls' weekend), so I need to get my (only slightly smaller than it was) butt in gear!

    And now the final frame

    Day 113, 34 points.

Well done jps, great that you did it and had the determination to continue. Hiya CWR I am struggling if ever anyone else enters my orbit!

I have three and a half weeks to my god daughter's wedding and I want another half a stone gone by then. And I am not stopping now I want to reach that 100 lbs.

Have a look at cutting down your carbs. If you look at low carb eating, one of the benefits is that you lose weight from around your stomach which doctors say is the most dangerous place to be carrying weight.

Well done jpscloud, that's a great loss and it's impressive you got back on track so quickly.

Another 4lb off for me this week, which means just over half a stone in the past fortnight!! I know that it won't keep coming off at that rate, especially seeing as I'm going away for a few days next week, but it makes the times I've said no to crisps/cake/beer/loads of other things I love all worth it.

    Hello everyone

Hope you don't mind if I join you all. I've recently started to follow WW online too in the hope of losing 2.5 - 3 stone. I did great the first week and lost 5lbs!! Since then, I've struggled for motivation and have lost my way (terrible, I know. :o).
I'm starting a fresh today though and would love some buddies to chat to along the way. :)

I'm fine throughout the day, but I really struggle in the evenings. I'm on my own now, apart from having my little boy 4 nights a week (who is incredibly fussy with food, so I can't eat the same as him).

I usually have cereal, bananas and grapes for breakfast, either beans, spaghetti hoops or scrambled eggs on nimble toast for lunch (at work), yoghurt & fruit for snacks, and then evenings I just don't know what to cook for myself. :( I struggle to find the energy or will to cook myself a meal (cooking for one seems so pointless).

Does anyone have any quick, easy (and cheap!) suggestions for evening meals for one?

    xx

Welcome to the club MeandO and good luck with starting again.

I also tend to make more effort if I'm cooking for other people but do try to make something sensible even if it's only for me. When I'm being really lazy and can't even be bothered to chop up some veg and stick a quorn fillet in the oven I'll have a tin of soup (with some toast or a bagel if I've got enough points left) or an omelette for dinner.

Funny you should say that izadora, as I had an omelette is what I since planned, with some steam fresh veg and a tablespoon of quark in, with large mushrooms on the side (in fry light).
    Yummy!

Thanks for the lovely welcome :)

Hi MeandO, I struggle in the evenings too. My default mode was just to eat and eat until I couldn't eat any more. Now I often manage to have just my dinner and stop, but I do still sometimes find myself in the kitchen wondering how I got there!

I like fish portions in sauce (about 100 to 150 calories per portion depending on who makes them) with heaps of veggies for dinner when I need to just do something in a few minutes.
