    Hi everyone!

Have been reading your posts for a few weeks now, and finally plucked up the courage to join in. You're all so inspirational, and seem to keep each other going, and that's what I need I think.

I'm 24, currently very very overweight, I would say I have about 8 stone to lose!! Have started doing WW this year, as I know that I can save myself while I'm still young from any future health problems. All my friends are skinny minnies, so I don't really have anyone to relate with in my friendship group, and telling my family that I am trying to slim down, is a nightmare because then my mum constantly asks me if I'm hungry.. which then makes me think I am hungry.. nightmare!!

My main thing is drinking, because I go out quite a lot, there is always alcohol involved, which is terribly calorific, although now I have switched from pints to vodka, so that's more slimming, plus I have stopped going out so much, as I always have bad days with hangovers, and eat all the naughty food in the world it seems!!

I am going on holiday in June and want to be able to comfortably sit in a plane seat, I have only ever needed a seat belt extension once (last year at my heaviest) and it felt like the most embarrassing thing ever, so I definitely want to avoid that, plus I don't want to be all hot and sweaty abroad.

So I have 112 lb to lose, 8 stone would put me in a healthy BMI range, and hopefully make clothes look better on me (something that I have always struggled with, so always end up wearing the same things time and time again).

I have lost 24 lb so far, which I am happy with but desperate for more to go off.

Hopefully you ladies can keep inspiring me as you all seem to be doing amazingly! :T

Day 105, 49 points - 7 weekly points remsining, 24 activity points accrued.

Weigh in tomorrow, I have been throwing stuff into charity shop bags all day,my house looks like an episode of Hoarders again. This time I will be ruthless and get rid of much more. I want to have much less stuff.

Tootallulah you should have a read of the konmarie method thread which is all about de cluttering and only living with things that bring you joy. I'm kondoing everything apart from weight just now. Extra lbs next on the kondo list.

Hello BelsyBoop good to see you and welcome, we are all a bit quiet about how much we have to lose in total, beyond the first 100 lbs that is, but I am just aiming to be a size 16. You have made a great start, do join in, the more the merrier. Plane seats and being more comfortable in the heat are both on my list too.

Off to look at Kondoing, thanks Ali T.

Grrrrr very annoying I have gained a lb. Oh well I did go off plan and clearly that matters. Back on it today I want to get well below 2 stones this week, onwards and upwards!

tootalluluah, I know that any gain seems bad but it's only 1lb, which will be easy enough to say goodbye to again, especially seeing as you've got back on plan so quickly.

Hello BelsyBoop, well done for your loss so far. I can sympathise with alcohol being a killer for a diet, especially when you get drunk/hungover munchies.

I did very well this weekend though and, despite being in the pub Friday, Saturday and Sunday, only drank on Saturday. Watching football yesterday with a diet coke rather than a pint of Stella didn't seem overly much fun at the time, although it wasn't as bad as I'd feared it might be, but seemed sooooo worth it when I weighed myself this morning and was 3.5lb down.

Tootalluh - I have had plenty of weeks were I have gained, and been annoyed with myself with going off plan, but if you look to the future, your 1lb gain, will soon be gone!!
I have been told by my doctor that 1lb is around 3000 calories.
Onwards and downwards for the next week, I am sure you will make up for it :j

Izadora - You did well not having a pint while watching football, and while at the time it does feel really boring, you definitely thank yourself when it comes to weigh in day!
I am only drinking when I go out now, rather then coming home at night and having a beer or something, because it isn't waistline friendly, although it is hard to not drink, especially when other people are, and they are used to naturally getting me a pint!
I've definitely given up pints as well, as they are so high in calories and points, doesn't seem worth it, when you're going to wee it out anyway!
Well done on your 3.5lb weight loss this week, that's amazing :T

Day 106, 38 points. Slightly frozen Yeo Valley blackcurrant yogurt - food of the gods.

Well done Izadora you are cracking on now. Hiya BB I do hope the lb I gained will disappear along with a couple more this week.

I've done 42 points today, I tend to go down hill in the evening and get the munchies! bought some popcorn today which is only 2 points per pack, so I can munch on one of those when I get the munchies late in the evening.

I think its about breaking bad habits!

    Onwards and downwards!!
  • Bad, bad Rosie, wanted to eat everything in sight on Saturday, I've no idea why! And although I didn't have any alcohol this weekend, I've used up all my weekly points :( So trying to keep under daily points for the next 3 days at least.

I bought a Jello sugar free chocolate pudding mix a while back and made it up tonight, using skimmed milk... probably full of chemicals, but great for that chocolate craving!

    And now the final frame

I don't know why CWR but I am hungry at the minute, rather disappointing as surely it should be easier in the warmer weather. I have found a brilliant shop that hand makes chocolate and where you can buy just two individual chocolates. Those two chocolates per week work if I have a chocolate need in the evening.
