I have lost 4 lbs this week - GOOD! That is 25lbs on this challenge so far

Well done, I bet you're ever so pleased with your achievement.

I was very happy this morning that I've managed to lose 5lb. I know that a lot of that is down to a first-week boost and I can't expect it to carry on like that but it's a good start.

I'm not entirely sure whether I was within my weekly points, as we had a Chinese on Saturday and I met friends for lunch yesterday so had to guess a little bit, but I'd been really good at sticking to 27/28 points during the week so that I didn't have to worry too much, as long as I didn't go mad, at the weekend.
  • Just read the thread up to here and I will keep watching.

High 5's to everyone on their journey (losing, sts and not having the best day).

I need to lose some weight and am trying to do Slimming World but need to get in the right frame of mind.

But fair play to you all :):)

Oh Pink Poppy, hard luck I dream of bread, cheese and wine! Meal planning works for me I think it is one of the reasons I have kept it going this time, and this diary also helps with that.

Brilliant start Izadora - onwards and downwards.

Taking my niece to Zizzis tonight best I can see on the menu is linguine with king prawns - 16 points.

Well done tootallulah! I was hoping for a better loss this week but only managed a pound... still, it's in the right direction.

    I need to exercise more!

  • Fab losses tootallulah and Izadora!! Commiserations Pink Poppy - I fully expect to be joining the 'gained camp' this week as I've had 2 bad weekends of going over points and didn't get weighed last week. I'm not giving up though, just need to find my 'oomph' again!

Day 70, 50 points due to having a meal out in Zizzis where it is hard to find anything with reasonable points and I have NO will power. Still better be doing big eats early in the week rather than at the week-end.

    Any loss is good jps.

CWR, hope you get back on it this week and haven't gained-you may be OK if it is just the odd day. Fingers crossed.

I lost 3lb this week (well I think I did, my scales aren't very reliable!), so chuffed with that.

My fav meals at the moment are chicken stir fry (8vintage points) and pasta with bisto cheese sauce and ham (7vintage points) ( plus I bung in mushrooms and peppers to bulk it out).

My new find and love of the moment is quorn fillets. Just like chicken and cook from frozen in the microwave!

Well done PolyAnna. I saw your scales enquiry, there are good deals on Amazon but mine were Salter cheapies from John Lewis and they have been fine.

Still laid out by this chest infection. I keep going to bed about 8 as I am wiped out. I do hope it hurries up and !!!!!!s off I am really fed up of feeling coughy and knackered.

Day 71, 40 points. A cold, wet, thundery day. If I had any chocolate in the house I would eat it all, ditto midget gems, floral gums or Sherbons luckily the sweet shop is closed! Still knackered, throat like razor blades generally hacked off. I am boring myself now I really hope I wake up tomorrow cold free.
