Day 67, 37 points. Hiya Izadora well yes you could be right they wouldn't want to upset me. To be honest I am still coughing and spluttering and I don't think I will be able to go, one of our friends is tetraplegic and I can't risk passing a chest infection onto him. These things happen we have been friends for over forty years they will understand - and they will agree I shouldn't be there putting our friend at risk.

I better have lost some blooming weight this week I have been within points and I have eaten super healthy food. It is much easier when I make real food and plan it properly so I am never looking for what to make for lunch or tea.

I need to get some Euros tomorrow, ready for a few days in Palma the week after next. I have worked all day today so I can have a lovely work free, guilt free week-end.

OK I have given apologies for dinner tonight I am a bit Typhoid Mary and don't want to spread illness.

Oh well I have spent an hour in the greenhouse getting the next set of seeds in - it is my first year with a greenhouse which is a real treat. Now off to cut out 2 pairs of summer trousers, one size down - hoo blooming ray. I might do a bit of gentle sorting out this afternoon or I might loll about and watch Say Yes to the Dress!

Day 68, 45 points. I have eaten quite a lot of comfort food today. Still 27 weekly point left though so not desperate. Off for an early night.. the glamour and excitement of it all.
  • CWR in my current job the graphic designer lives in St Petersburgh, never met her, or even spoken but it seems to work. It is always good to have a skill where you can do interesting work on the side.

St Petersburgh sounds a lot more exciting than Somerset - nothing ever happens here!

Have not had a good few days (again!!) too much wine and subsequent munchies....arghhh!!! Hopefully though, when I get weighed this week it'll shock me back onto the straight and narrow!

Have been quite busy though so hoping I'll have burnt off a few calories to compensate.

Did you watch the Great Sewing Bee tootallulah? would you put yourself through that?

Hiya CWR, I love the Sewing Bee but the last time I had to do anything against the clock was needlework O Level so I don't think I could do it.

Absolutely beautiful warm, sunny day here I have planted up 100s of seedlings ready for getting in the garden after Easter but I have done no sewing, better to be outside whilst the weather is good.

I have also done a good, big cook up: tomato soup (2 points per serving), chicken curry (6 points per serving) and I have prepared piles of vegetables and fruit for the week ahead I am in a mission to get below the next half stone by Easter, weigh in tomorrow. I had better have lost some weight this week or I will be well fed up. Smoked haddock for tea which is my favouirte, I found two fillets whilst rooting about in the freezer this morning.

Back on it tomorrow CWR? summer clothes are round the corner!

Day 69, 34 points, and 27 of my extra points left (the first time I haven't eaten all of them). Low on activity points this week, only 17 as I haven't really done anything but potter for the last few days. On the whole a good week.
  • Yep, it's nice to see a bit of Spring weather. I need to get out in our garden too and start tidying it up. I have a raised bed for veg, so that needs digging and some fertiliser added ready for planting.

Been a good day - just made saag, gobi aloo for dinner which was really tasty and am counting as 10 points as there was a fair few new potatoes in there but also some preserved ginger, ground almonds and coconut powder in the sauce - all the rest was 0 point stuff.

Made a whole tray of salted caramel brownies (for the lads) and have managed to resist. I usually bake something on the weekend either for home or work.

Will make my lunch for tomorrow in a bit, so I'm prepared and must force myself to have porridge instead of toast as it's less points.

Morning aleachay I hope to see you again this week. Good luck.

I have lost 4 lbs this week - GOOD! That is 25lbs on this challenge so far, looking at the year target I am 25% of the way there one week ahead of schedule.

I hope everyone is good, I am going into the next week with relish, as I want to get to the 2 stone mark. I still haven't gone down a size by the way!

Well done toots, you're doing great :-)

I've put 2lbs on this week, whoops. No surprise as I've been drinking wine & eating white bread all week. I need to work out in lbs how much I would like to lose over the next few months & also do a meal plan, that's a job for today I think.
