Great start Squiggly Diddly!! I am so admiring of all the exercise you're doing. This is going to hold me back unless I can do something, although even walking somewhere is still painful at the moment although this has improved some since I started and hoping it will continue. I used to go to the gym at work after 5pm but they have since changed the hours it is available to staff (as they have extra patient appointments now) and as I don't drive I can't get there unless the buses are running. It was really handy and usually only 1 or 2 other people in there so I didn't feel self conscious and you could get on all the equipment.
On another tangent, I tried on the wet look jeans and they fit perfectly!! Likewise the jacket, so I have a dilemma now, do I dare to wear them (a fat nearly 51 yr old) this Friday or go for something safer? I have ankle boots and a top to go with.Over futile odds

Thank you
And go for it with the outfit CWR!! I really must try the cauli rice, sounds interesting.
I am not enjoying the exercise (well other than the swimming), and have been achy & hobbling most of the week because I haven't done any for so long, but am getting an odd satisfaction from marking it off each time I complete the workouts. At the moment I'm feeling motivated and im hoping it becomes easier as I get fitter & enough of a habit before that disappears... A shame about the change of hours, it's nice having somewhere quiet to go.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -
Ha, ha! OK. I'm more worried about walking in the ankle boots tbh, last time I wore them they nearly crippled me and I had to take them off and go home in my socks!! They're not even that high. Think I'll use a bigger handbag and take a pair of flats with me.
A 1lb loss for me this week, which is OK, I can't lose 5lb, 3 weeks on the trot, I'd think there was something seriously wrong with me! Also, from losing a lot on a previous attempt, I know I tend to race through some stones and take my time over others.Over futile odds

wear the new trousers and wear them with the pride! TBH I wouldn't wear the ankle boots if I couldn't walk in them as you might end up walking like you have a sweaty crotch from the trousers rather than just being crippled by the boots. Rock the trousers with funky flats and own them!If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

Good loss CWR, like you I seem to have 3lb weeks or 1lb weeks without much obvious reference to what I have eaten. I am laughing at the boots comments-so many times I have hobbled home without any shoes on.
I am in charge of Mothering Sunday lunch so that will help me not get diverted. I am really impatient now to go down a size. I think it is 20lbs away though. OK so I am saying it size 20 by May 1st.0 -

I walked about a mile barefoot in snow once, in my youth, when a stupid bloke I was on a date with refused to drop me home in case he got stranded in the snow. Luckily a friend of mine who was also out said I could stay at hers (which was nearer) but we couldn't drive up the steep hill from the main road, and I had 4 inch stilettos on.Over futile odds

Hi CWR I once walked a very long way in pouring rain holding my lovely "brand new Ravel black suede pixie boots" from the Beetroot behind Regent Street. It was raining so heavily they would have been ruined and there was no way i was losing those boots to the rain - they cost my entire week's food budget. My New Romantic youth!0
