Lose 100 lbs in 2015

Hi! Haven't read all of the thread but have dipped in and out a few times. Please can I join you all? I have approx 50lbs to lose. I am doing myfitnesspal at the moment. I started 2 weeks ago but am only going to weigh once a month as I find it off putting getting weighed more often.
I also have some health issues which mean I can't exercise. I do try and do as many steps as I can each day though - I bought a fitbit flex to keep track of what I am doing. I have to go and see an nhs dietian soon as well although not sure what more they can tell me!
I am looking at this as a long term thing though, rather than a lose the weight and go back to eating again thing!!0 -
Hello, I've had a bit of a funny week (funny peculiar, rather than ha-ha!)
I think it's my time of life changes at the bottom of it, but I'm feeling very flat and tired, and finding it very hard not to return to my old eating habits.
It's weigh in tomorrow but I'm fairly sure I haven't lost much, and might have gained a little. We'll see what the scales say!
I know where I'm going wrong but for the first time in my life I'm stopping short of a complete loss of control, so that can only be a good thing. Just a bit of "diet" blues this week maybe.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Day 56, 37 points. Weigh in tomorrow, I do hope I have not have put any weight on as I have been rather off piste this week.
Welcome Anoneemoose you are most welcome it is a long term thing for pretty much everyone on this thread. I try and do 10,000 steps every day and that works brilliantly Monday to Friday but I do b****r all at the week-end!
Hiya JPS I have had a terrible eating week this week, and I feel knackered, it occurred to me that I might need to take some iron tablets or maybe some vitamins? Not sure why but it suddenly popped into my head - perhaps that is your issue.0 -
Thanks for having me! I am currently taking iron and high strength vit d and what a difference it makes. I certainly know when I forget.
I am the same with my steps although weekends can be ok if I have lots of housework to do. This weekend I have mainly been napping because of my chronic fatigue and Fibro! 😳0 -
Hey!!! There's a big gang of us dodgy kneed, slightly more mature, lovely ladies on here now!! I'm imagining us all doing a Maori Haka ... Us v Excess weight.
I've done something really reckless....and ordered some black wet look jeans!!! Gawd knows what they'll look like on me, but I get these notions every so often!!Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

Weigh in this morning -3lbs I am very pleased with that as really I have been a bit rubbish in week seven. I am in the next stone down which is very pleasing.
Week eight underway now, I would like to lose 2lbs, my aim for March is on track for 10lbs in total.0 -
Hi CWR, looking forward to hearing MUCH more about the wet look jeans, especially if you are going to wear them in our Haka. Anything else get ordered whilst you were in the mood?0

Great weightloss tootallulah! Next stone down gives you a boost as you feel you're really getting somewhere.
Ha! I don't know if I'll be able to get them on yet, lets hope they've got plenty of lycra in them!! Yes, I also ordered a grey and black waterfall jacket. Already got a black one but I'd been coveting this one for months and found it cheaper on Ebay. I'm not really one for buying classic items, but jackets I get lots of wear out of.Over futile odds

Hi again.. well it's a 1lb gain for me this week - not too much of a surprise and hopefully it'll make me get in gear this week for a good loss.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Day 57, 38 points.
Thanks CWR, I was jolly pleased with losing anything this week.
Hi JPS, always difficult when you have had an odd week, let's hope that this one is more "normal" whatever that might be.
I am off to London in the morning so it might be one of those "difficult" days.0
