Thanks CWR welcome Sams-Saving and thank-you for your support.

I have just made a coleslaw with greek yogurt and reduced mayo. cabbage, carrots, apple, onion, fennel, romano peppers and fresh mint. Lovely and on a sunny day like today a taste of spring. I am going to have it with chicken for my lunch. I also made a chopped fruit salad: pomegranates, grapes, apple and passion fruit in freshly squeezed orange juice.

Now I am off to mess about in the greenhouse - bliss.

Day 49, 43 points, weigh in tomorrow.

Gorgeous day today I have planted loads of seeds and planted up some seedlings the greenhouse was lovely and warm I enjoyed my couple of hours in there.

I have made up salads, and found some roast tomato soup in the freezer so lunches are looking good for this week. My target for March is 10lbs, let's hope I am more on it than I have been in February. At some point in March I am going with my Mum for a few nights in the Canaries. It will be lovely to feel the sun.

1 lb lost this week, well it is a loss but doesn't feel much considering I have been well within points this week. Aarghh, onwards and upwards still a loss isl a loss.

Two months down and 18 lbs gone, and when I lose another lb I am down into the next stone and if I keep up at this rate by my summer holiday in July I will be half way to my target and at least two sizes closer to where I want to be.

My target for March is 10lbs - here we go.

CWR - when you are single there are lots of hours in the day to achieve things, I don't do that much really it is in short bursts, and a couple of times a week I will have an early night, good sleep gives me loads more energy.

In February, whilst staying in points, I have eaten a lot more carbs than I did in January and I think that probably means I have taken in many more calories. I am back on the low carbs this month and hopefully that will be more successful.

I really want to be comfortable in the next size down by Easter so I will be extra vigilant this month.

Hi can I join you a bit late? I have more than 100lbs to lose but it is a realistic goal for this year.

I'm doing slimming world so I post on the slimming world challenge threads as well but have been lurking here and admiring your determination... might as well join you if you'll have me!

I had a bad half term, working in education means that school holidays present a challenge as I tend to go a bit mad. Hopefully I've lost the 2lb I put on, weigh in is tonight.

:hello::hello::hello: Toots :hello::hello::hello: this is where you've been hiding :D.

A bit late to the party but can I join you?

I'm about to move to the Middle East and everyone seems to put on a stone out there - I intend to lose 4 stone . In the meantime though before I go I have to do the rounds of farewell meals etc (shame) plus a week in Spain with crusty bread and butter to negotiate. Plus wine at 90p a bottle :o. So for now, if I can stay in the same stone bracket for March I'll be content .

I echo what others have been saying about health. A few years ago, when I was around 1/2 stone heavier then I am now, my knees were sore - I lost almost three and 1/2 stone and the pain stopped. Fortunately the pain hasn't come back, but the weight has :wall::wall::wall:. I love walking but in hot climates walking shoes/boots are not practical and I struggle to find comfortable walking sandals (my blisters could go on Embarrassing Bodies ) - my weight can't help :(

As you lose more weight Toots I'm sure you'll find it takes less than two stone to drop a dress size :T.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hello jpscloud, you are most welcome please do join in. I have loads more than 100lbs to lose I just thought that I might actually make 100lbs in a year, it feels possible and if I do make it 2016 is another year!

Woo hoo GG hello to you and how lovely to see you. As far as I know from friends in the Middle East it could be the perfect place to concentrate on just yourself, and gaining the body beautiful. It will be great to have you along once you have survived the farewells and Spain.

Slightly vexing news of the day? my home made coleslaw is ABSOLUTELY FOUL I have just consigned a large amount of it straight into the bin. I don't know what has happened to my food preparation I keep making disgusting home-made food. Luckily you can't do much with baked fish and vegetables which seems to have become one of my staples (not sure how that happened). Steak tonight with cauli, broccoli and carrots. Blackcurrant yogurt for pudding (Yeo Valley and quite the nicest yogurt I have eaten in years).

Lunch packed already for tomorrow. I am sewing tonight.

GallyGirl it is the going down sizes that is keeping me on the straight and narrow. I must say that I have sent away all the size 24s to the charity shop but my theory that I was a size 22 is clearly not quite true.......I was a 22 that did a lot of squeezing to get into a 22, most of my clothes now fit and can be fastened. I buttoned my winter coat this morning for the first time this year, good job because it was bucketing down snow as I went for the train, however it got buttoned because I can!
