Thanks ladies! I just wish my skin would heal up now and I'd be feeling great (really suffering with my eczema for months now and it keeps getting infected, I suspect it's got worse due to the menopause, as I seem to have escaped all the other symptoms Mother Nature can't let me get away scot free!).
The only Weightwatchers products I buy now are the frozen beef hotpots (7pp. I think they're tasty and you can add a big pile of veg), the caramel wafers (as they're only 1pp and I can have with a cup of tea in the evening) and the mini ice cream tubs (2pp).Over futile odds

Thanks for the tips on WW food CWR, it was the lure of Poundland, I did also get some wraps which I will try out at the week-end and report back. I am sorry about the eczema that sounds horrible, how very kind of Mother Nature!
Day 46, 34 points. I did much better with my food today but I am only under points because my home made vegetable soup was disgusting and I couldn't eat it. I am quite a good cook, make my own stock, cook everything from scratch etc but my soups are often pretty rubbishy. I only really succeed with roast tomato soup and the fag end of my tomato crop was finished in January. I cant wait for this season's growing to start I love the spring and summer.0 -

Glorious day. I hope we have another day like it tomorrow. My seeds are germinating nicely.0 -

Welcome WWDIT it is great to see you and please do join in, the more the merrier. I am sorry but I don't know how to subscribe to threads I am hoping someone else can point you in the right direction.
I am single too, and the recipe question depends on whether you mind eating the same thing a couple of days running? I will post a bit more on what I eat, though it is not usually very enlightening! The key for me is definitely roughly planning what I will eat in the evening which is my eating/boredom time. I am fine at work as I am too busy to be snacking.
I use weight watchers on line and religiously track everything, it works for me others have had huge success with Slimming World, there is an active thread here on this.
My first month of WW on line was free through Quidco, there are nearly always offers somewhere on-line. Good luck, I know that knee feeling........0 -
Morning all!
WWDIT - I'm afraid I don't know how to subscribe to threads either, tbh, I didn't know you could!!
I'm doing Weight Watchers and going to a weekly group meeting with my mate from work and track my points on the WW's app everyday.
I also had very painful knees and ankles and had a few health problems last year, and ended up in hospital. I'm 50 and I decided I had to do something about my weight once and for all.
Started the group on 7th Jan and have lost nearly a stone and a half so far. I suddenly realised the other day, as I was walking up a slope, that my knees weren't hurting, and that was a great incentive moment.
I have a family but they don't often eat the same meals as me, so I'm mostly cooking for one.
Oh, and this morning, I have just eaten 2 crumpets (no butter), 2 eggs scrambled and some grilled tomatoes (baby ones). I tend not to eat lunch on weekends so I can save my points for the evenings.
I still go out with my friends for meals and drinks as you get 49 extra points to use over the week.Over futile odds

Day 48, 45 points.
Staying in tonight so my plan is to sort out my wardrobes and get stuff packed up ready for the charity shop. First out of the door? all the size 24s WOO HOO I am not going back there again so they can be on their way. It looks like it takes about two stones to go down a size so I am now firmly sighted on packing up and sending out the 22s at some point in May.
CWR- crumpets, are they special ones or are the ordinary ones low points? I love crumpets. I made chicken quesadillas with my WW wraps, they were nice.0 -
EDIT, I just ate a DELICIOUS blackcurrant yogurt so my Day 48 is now 49 points.0

They're the Warburtons ones - 5pp for 2
I made chickpea and carrot falafels, cous cous salad with feta cheese and a yoghurt and mint dressing for dinner - counted it as 12pp although that may have been over erring slightly. Would rather over estimate than under.Over futile odds
