Hi Ali T I don't keep track of the walking in the hope it helps but secretly. Weigh in today, I have lost 1lb (feel it is a miracle I have lost anything after last week).

Day 29, 52 points I have been for dinner in Loch Fyne, very enjoyable evening and definitely worth it.
  • In a complete muddle and only realised this morning that I am not going away in two weeks I am going this Thursday. Luckily the friends I am staying with rang to say you haven't organised getting out to us. I was drivelling away and then realised that the flight is on Thursday - phew. I may need to revise my February target........
  • Day 30 - 34 points. At last back on track properly. But I have a lunch for work tomorrow so I will need to be careful. I am off to Ireland for a few days which is going to be tough.

Hmmmmmm 56 points today, wine at lunch pudding etc etc. However I am still within my weekly allowances, just and I have tracked 26 activity points so hopefully I should be balanced out over the week.
  • Hope you have fun with your friends in Ireland tootallulah!

I stayed the same at weigh in this week, scales were teetering between 10 and 9 and decided to stay on 10! Nevermind, not surprising given the weekend's excesses. Trouble is I'm out again on Friday for a curry - we were asking our leader what we could have as a Tikka Masala is 50+ points!!! I said maybe we should just stick to the lemon consomme on the table (fingertips washing dish)!!

I bought the Cook it Your Way book as it was on offer, some nice recipes in there... am now craving chocolate rice pudding and leek and stilton tarts (not together!)

Hi CWR, yes it is hard but I am thinking we are in week 6 of 52 weeks there will be easier weeks, and much more challenging ones. My key will be not gaining in the challenging weeks. I am staying with friends in Ireland which I am looking forward to but obviously I will eat what I am given!

I had my first drink this year yesterday as I have been avoiding alcohol, I love Indian food but haven't dared go near a restaurant. I have cooked the odd curry at home with no ghee (or any other fat).

Day 38, 36 points. I had a great time in Ireland and whilst I haven't gone overboard I certainly wasn't counting points and there was a glass of wine every day.

Back on track yesterday and really hoping I haven't gained any weight, I am not looking, my next weigh in is Monday. My new hope for February is to get to an 18 lb weight loss in total.

I had a very good shop in TK Maxx and so now do have a number of items one size down - they were all on the sale rail, a pile of James Lakeland items none costing more than £10 - deep joy. I did do a lot of walking when I was away the weather was sunny but freezing.

Whilst I was with friends we decided to go to France in July so I have booked the flights and that it gives me a target date of 20 weeks to lose the next 40lbs. My friends don't know I am losing weight so it will be a good surprise and I want to feel comfortable enough to swim in the sea.

terrible! I have missed the last few weeks classes due to working late or out the area and have been pigging out. Scales say - NO! I have lost my mojo and need to find it again and lose the biscuit tin and takeaway menus.

  • I'm still plodding away, lost another 1lb this week. When I got weighed on the doctor's scales on Tuesday it was 2lb, but scales all give a different reading. Friday night I went out for a curry and drinks with friends from work so that used up most of my weekly points, but that's what they're there for.

We can do this ladies!! In the words of Scarlet O'Hara ....'Tomorrow is another day'!!
