"How long was it between you signing (or accepting delivery) of the package to contacting Amazon to inform them of the problem?"
Same day on the 3rd January
"What liquid is so thick that 4 litres of it wouldnt soak the outer packaging? Is there anything else you have done to upset Amazon?"
It was a health drink called noni juice and was a lot thicker than my usual purchases. I haven't done anything else to upset them other than report damages.
"Can we have some pics of the damage? Have you sent Amazon pics? "
I don't have pics as never needed to own a camera inside my house for the last decade so haven't sent Amazon any.0 -
I agree with most of what you say except if all 6 bottles were smashed...4 litres of liquid had to go somewhere!
Depends how they were smashed. Any crack would mean the bottle is undrinkable in case of small pieces of glass being loose in the drink.
It would be helpful to see a photo.
OP, if you are housebound and cannot write letters, then there is not much you can do other than continually phoning Amazon.
Is there no friends/family that can post a letter for you?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
There really isn't anyone and my parents are quite old and very tired doing simple things like going out and posting letters. They've done a lot for me over the years but are now pretty much housebound themselves. Please read my past post regarding photos.0

Absolutely it does, I thought the original OP said that all six bottles were smashed in pieces! and in that scenario 4 litres of liquid would IMO be noticeable
For what its worth I believe the OP, but without pics or any other kind of evidence and with the inability to write a letter I would say its very unlikely the OP will have a positive outcome.
I am guessing that Amazon have closed the account (rightly or wrongly) due to several complaints of a similar nature0 -
Sorry but you must have something with a camera function on it? Computer, phone etc? I can understand why Amazon would be suspicious with zero evidence of your claim.0

Never heard of Noni juice and know nothing about it (other than its expensive) but was it actually sold by Amazon or a third party seller, cant seem to find any sold by amazon0
-
It was fulfilled by Amazon on behalf of a seller and no longer instock/sold.0

OP, you say that Amazon have closed the account due to "abuse of their policies" - did they clarify to you exactly which policy and how you abused it? That information may be relevant. If they didn't then there are your first two questions.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

They didn't clarify when I asked them. I think a lot of people have had a similar experience with not being told the specifics.0 -
As already mentioned Amazon don't tend to close accounts based on a single issue unless they have evidence of you acting fraudulently or have a history of returning items or otherwise suspicious activity. I really don't think we're getting the full story here.
Do you use Amazon a lot and how often do you return items for a refund?0
