This is awful.
Can you get yourself out of there for now? Check in to a cheap b&b or whatever. Either way you shouldn't sit there and wait for him to come back.
If money is a big issue you could also try looking at the thread on domestic violence here and see if one of those organisations could put you up for the night.
Did your husband do AA? If so could you contact his sponsor to help deal with him?
Sorry these are just random thoughts and might not be helpful. But wanted to try.
Lots of luck0 -
okay he is abusive, time for you to clear out whereever you can go for the night. Do not stay there and wait for him to come home. Tomorrow morning, you can attempt to talk or whatever it is you would like to do. But tonight, take yourself somewhere safe.:starmod:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1189:starmod:0

Get yourself and puppy to the nearest Travelodge - they allow you to have a dog with you!
Just don't be there for your OH when he comes home ... and leave a note (for him to read when he has sobered up) that he has to come to some decisions ...0 -
Oh thanks - I didn't know Travelodge allow pets - I'll book online now thank you.
Do you know - I just haven't got anything to say to him - I am gutted! I am not going through all of this again - it has been hell!
I'll just see if I can book a travelodge!Total Quidco earnings - £547.98

I was thinking of calling his mum but to be honest, they have had enough of him drinking too and knowing him, he wont answer their calls anyway! I hate alcohol!Total Quidco earnings - £547.98

Seven months completely drink-free as a recovering alcoholic is a massive achievement. Massive. One relapse might not be reason enough to end the relationship forever but I would take the advice given and get the heck out of the house to your nearest Travelodge before he comes home. Deal with the regret, guilt and recriminations tomorrow once he's sobered up.0
