I had the feeling that this was going to be a long post but when I've thought about it, it's actually not that much to tell despite weeks of stress and hard work.
So the house fell through - the buyers wouldn't negotiate after something came up and put it back on the market. Then our buyers wanted to be in within 2 weeks (!!!!!!!) and we eventually found a new house after putting our buyers off for a short while. I have had a headache for 11 days and counting and I have the worst churning feeling in my stomach due to it all.
Anyway - we should know more next week - I won't go in to each annoying detail but basically, anything that can be thrown in to cause issues, has!
This weekend I need lots of family time. Both animal and human kind. I hope the kids are good as I feel the stress is wearing off on them and they are playing up. Then I feel worse!
It will all be worth it once we're in our new house having hot chocolate in the farm house kitchen with the horses within 20 metres- trying to remain positive after this mammoth moan

Morning all
Debt now stands at sub 23k - £22979 to be precise. Once these month end payments are all processed.
My 0% runs out on my card at the beginning of February 2016 so I hope we're in the new house and mortgage is being taken before then so I can hopefully switch to a new deal if I'm eligible.
I'll send an update on the house once I know more - things are happening but waiting for a bit more of a firm grounding before I commit!
Hope everyone's ok. I'll be glad to catch up on some sleep over the weekend!Debt - CCV £3792

So much for catching up with sleep!
Right, house valuation is getting done next week now. Mortgage is fine so far though I am acutely aware things could change in a nano second.
I've decided to take the bit between my teeth and get packing anyway. I have to travel for work which will take out a big period of October and I'll need time in November to do Xmas shopping so I figure the weekends in between we will be packing. We've started bits and pieces. If we don't move, we will decorate and the rooms will need to be empty for that anyway.
Thankfully no work tonight so I think once all the animals are done, some me and him time is neededDebt - CCV £3792

Thank you
I've been getting a few removal quotes and if the first 2 are anything to go by then we will be moving ourselves!
We went for a lovely ride out last night, well I was on foot as little pony is rather excited to be out given he's been on box rest. He's fine, hence riding out. It was lovely and to balance out the feeling the removal van's quote gave me - if the hacking out feeling we got last night is anything to go by for when we move, then it will all be worth it. So nice to be out with the horses just chatting and relaxing.
I reviewed the paperwork from the solictor last night and have a few questions. They are mostly from my lack of understanding of the legal jargon no doubt. I'll wait for her to review the documents and then will ask questions.
So tonight we have tea from the slow cooker to which I will just add a couple of sides, then working 8-10. If there is any time in between we are going to move the already packed boxes into one room to allow us to see the bigger picture again. Then will assess what is to pack next.
