Morning diary land
This week has gone by really quickly. I'm nice and busy at work. I have my usual day to day work which is starting to ramp up as that's what happens at this time of year. Also I'm helping out another department which has some interesting things happening in it. Additionally I'm handing over part of my work to another team so that's proving time consuming and interesting too (watching them try to cope, which they were so certain they would) along with keeping my ducks in a row with regards to the house. I'm away from Sunday morning for a week for work so I've had to keep myself busy so I don't worry about it. So work is ticking over nicely for now.
The house is a jungle. With all of this moving lark we've been decluttering, getting packed where we can and generally seem to be making a mess whilst trying not to. So before I leave I need the house to be in good shape with a plan of action for everyone whilst I am away.
Speaking of moving, the survey has come back as ok which is excellent news. This is where the chain broke last time so we're already ahead of where we have previously been. Now the mortgage needs to be underwritten and issued - hopefully that will happen and without any need for futher meetings or questions. Once we get that (if we do!) then I will be able to start the ball moving a lot more quickly. Until we get that, I don't feel like I have the right to pressure anyone as they could respond only for me to say stop if the mortgage isn't issued.
I have a feeling things may start to happen when I'm away, which would be typical, but I'm still online so it won't hold anything up.

Well I am back! I've been away on business and finally back in the land of normality. Accounts are being checked as we speak and the expenses claim is going in. I've also got a claim with the airline so will mention that if it pans out.
Friday is pay day and again I will be moving any extra cash in to my savings account as I am continuing to work that way. I *think* this will be my last pay day before we move. Ah yes, moving house. One stumbling block after another.....well it is my buyers who are causing me problems now. I've agreed to let them have a survey done (above the normal one which the mortgage requires) and to cut a long story short, we should know by the end of the week if they are still buying our house or if I have told them to disappear. So if things go well, we should be on par with the above and moving within a few weeks. If not, we are going to wait until after Xmas at least.
It's still a frustrating time as I daren't plan for the move but I don't feel like doing much at home either.
One thing I have noticed since being away is how dark the mornings are becoming. Getting up at 5:20 each day is going to be harder in the winter!!!!
I'm so pleased to be back home though - I'm getting focused on work and studying again and getting to grips emotionally with moving (stress) and generally taking control again.Debt - CCV £3792

Evening all.
Well today has been super busy at work and I really struggled after 3:30 to concentrate. I'm back on doing a couple of hours tonight and have a second wind so got through a lot tonight. Tomorrow is an easier day so I am looking forward to that.
I need to get my head in to a study book so tomorrow will start with making a list of things to get done during the day and it is to include at least 2 hours studying.
I packed another box tonight....we've a tentative date of 3 weeks time....Debt - CCV £3792

This morning is flying by. I've got loads of work done but haven't managed to write that list yet as things were sat waiting when I logged on. I have a meeting soon and then have to nip out to the estate agents to pay them for something and when I'm back I will reassess where I am.
I'm looking forward to a ride out tonight and then a nice relaxing walk with the dogs followed by chilling and an hour of work for good measure. Pending the conversation with the estate agent, I may pack another box or two tonight. We shall see.
Tea tonight will be beans on toast for me I think - frugal Wednesday.Debt - CCV £3792

OK so we now know where we stand with the report on the house. It's as expected and no doubt will end up meaning we have to pay out money but in order to secure the house we love and the life we've dreamt of, we're probably going to grin and bear it.
With that in mind, we should start packing in earnest now. We don't have loads and loads of things, but we have enough to warrant getting organised. Also if we move at the planned time, then Christmas will be just around the corner so I need to get organised there too. All online gifts this year I think! At least we won't need to pack the decorations away when we move in, they can go straight up!
Money wise, my accounts are stable and waiting for pay day tomorrow. It's an early one given that Sunday is the date we should be paid.

OK panic over, I thought I had forgotten something but I haven't.
So money wise next month I should be able to add another £400 to savings hopefully. That's with a tight food budget and no Christmas spends. Of course if we move, that £400 will end up getting used.
Winter livery costs are kicking in next month so the sooner the better for the move. It will be a few weeks after moving that the horses can come too as the place isn't ready for them just yet.Debt - CCV £3792

Happy Friday
Pay day for me today. I've replaced the money I borrowed from savings to travel as I will get expenses back this month to replace what I've used to replace it if you follow me.
I can't pay the personal credit card as the statement hasn't been issued for October yet. As soon as it is, I will pay £100 to it. It's over the minimum payment but not what I used to pay. Previously I would have paid the £400 I will now be saving, to it. I say that but it never used to end up being that much as I'd wait until just before next pay day to send it over, just in case I needed it, which inevitably meant it had been nibbled away at during the month.
Once it is in my savings I hate touching it, so it remains at £400 and I also have the nice feeling that if any emergency crops up I have it there to use.
No news on the house other than we're now waiting on another person and should know more next week - we better! Once this is cleared up (think positive) it will be full steam ahead.
I need to write a menu plan out for next week and go shopping this weekend. Ald1 have lots of horsey things in from Sunday so I may go then to have a look at them.
Work is busy and I have a few things to get through today so I will crack on with those before a quiet night in front of the TV with a bottle of wine and DH cuddles after sorting the horses.
Happy weekend everyone.Debt - CCV £3792

Morning all
Accounts are up to date and the small monthly amount of £100 has been sent to the credit card. This is the new amount and will continue in this effort for now. The loan will go in the next few days and is a fixed amount so nothing changing there. The remainder of the "spare" money after bills is going to savings still.
This weekend has flown by. We did have a lovely weekend but things are starting to take their toll on the not knowing what's happening with the house sale/puchase. As things are entirely out of our hands, it's making things twice as difficult having to leave it up to other people. Supposedly we will hear this week if the latest issue is an issue or not. If it is, it's a big issue as it means our buyers can't get their mortgage. If it isn't, it means they can get their mortgage and then it's full steam ahead. So really we are talking polar opposites in emotions and it's very hard to stay balanced whilst the decision is being made. Still, we've made it this far.
Also, as if I don't have enough on, I've started along the fitness and weight loss path again. I know this time of year makes us all feel "older" but I am feeling it more than ever this winter which I can only put down to extra weight and lack of fitnes. So we've been walking more than we ever do, I've started back on the lower fat, healthier meals and I'm conciously not putting things in my mouth because they are there! I'm doing it over a year or so, it's not a before Xmas wish or anything drastic like that.
So I have all of my stats and when I feel up to it, I may post them. For now, I am recovering from what I saw on the scales and the tape measurements.
Tea tonight is chicken stir fry with a kick of chilli for these cold days. I need to do a few soups too, winter warmers chinese style.
Work wise, I am in for a nother busy weel and must knuckle down with the studying. Mini tasks are the order of the day as when I tick something off I feel like I am getting somewhere. Thatr's one thing I miss about the transcription work I did Caz, the feeling of finishing it and handing it over. This place seems to be one continuous effort so I'm going in to mini tasks again to have the feeling of satisfaction that I seem to thrive on.Debt - CCV £3792
