Today has been really busy which is just as well as we still haven't been updated on the sale of our house. I am getting fed up now - thinking about putting it back on the market as I am running out of steam with our current buyers.Debt - CCV £3792

I was the same this time last year but about to pop with baby number 2. It took ages but it was worth it in the end. Solicitors can be soooooo sloooooow sometimes. I kept ringing every other day for updates just to keep us on their radar and hoped they would get sick of me and hurry it along!
Keep plodding along and hang in there!

Thanks both. We're now waiting to hear if our buyers' lender will give them the money based on the results of the report. According to my buyers, it's down to the surveyor now who requested the more detailed report in the first place. I get the feeling it it being passed from pillar to post.....and no one knows what the other one is doing.Debt - CCV £3792

Morning all.
One day closer to finding out what's happening with our sale.
Work today consists of finishing some reports that I've had through and issuing them. Then making a start on the next audit I have in.
I clipped the little pony (with clippers, not round the ear for non horsey people) last night and I found it so theraputic. Got a list of requests so will hope to get same pleasure from those too.
Money is in order and allocated for November. I'm going to start getting a few Xmas gifts as I can't wait around to find out re the house sale before doing anything. They are dragging me down enough.
Today I finish at 3, am going home to put tea on and work for an hour in the house putting clean clothes away as they are building up.
Also I'm expecting a delivery of clothes for the kids as they have literally outgrown most of their items, can't afford for them to grow more!Debt - CCV £3792

Wishing you all the best for your move, we've moved a lot and each time it's been touch and go. Just sit tight relax and try not to force things, they have a way of just happening when the time is right, say I who rung and rung and rung and played hell with our solicitors each time
We have a half clipped boy at the moment, clippers decided to go blunt half way lol£250 shopping, diesel and any other spends

Happy Monday!
Good advice there CW - I'm going to make myself ill if I carry on in the manner I have been. So this week, at least, I'm giving myself a break. If they (the estate agent, solicitors) want me, they can contact me. I will be doing NO chasing and trying to put it to the back of my mind. If the contact me with an update, then of course I will respond accordingly but I refuse to check my email a hundred plus times a day to see if anything has dropped in, nor will I be sending them stroppy notes saying their deadline has passed and still no update.
So in non moving news. I did some more clipping at the weekend on my friend's huge horse. She's a super star so was no bother, but took forever and her hair got everywhere compared to the other two. How strange! One more to do and that's the lot done.
I overspent on the food budget but I'm not worrying. We have full cupboard and happy faces and that counts for more than a few quid over budget. Tonight's tea will be the chicken left over from Sunday lunch combined with rice or pasta and stir fry veg. I'll do a phillidelphia type sauce too (aldi's version). Also I bought asparagus on offer in Aldi so I'm going to make soup with it as we've never had asparagus soup before. It will do for lunch with a salad tomorrow (my long day).
Today I am work until 3 then collecting kids. I've brought a salad in so will work until lunch time, eat that, catch up and continue until 3. I've got some work that needs finishing so the plan is to try and do that today.
Then tonight is the horses, Hugh's war on waste and the walking dead whilst browsing the net for Christmas gifts for people.Debt - CCV £3792

Morning!!
Happy Tuesday! The reason it is happy is we got the good news we have been waiting for with regards to the sale. Cwtchie you were rightSo back to lists, packing and lots of lovely dreaming! It should, s-h-o-u-l-d happen relatively quickly now. Watch this space.
So money wise, child benefot hit the account today, replenishing it slightly. I'm going to order a couple of Christmas presents tonight for those that I know what to get. Also need to order a bday present for DH as that's crept in without me thinking due to all of the moving issues!
I've put a stew in the slow cooker for tonight which we will have with mash and I'll get something else out of the freezer for tomorrow as I'm working it down now. There's not that much in there to use to be fair. It needs a dig out too as seems to have iced up a bit.
Tonight is tea, packing and working in that order!Debt - CCV £3792

Little money update:
New debt total is: £22359 as of today. This means I have paid off £16943. Gulp.
Another £2708 and I will be at the half way point.
At the beginning of this diary I was sure 2016 would be my last year in debt. That may or may not be the case now but either way I will enjoy every day regardless.
The 2 loans are being paid by direct debit monthly and the credit card is getting £100 to it monthly too.Debt - CCV £3792

Happy Wednesday!
Well work is ticking over nicely and I am getting through my tasks nicely.
Money wise things are relatively quiet and that's how I like it.
Moving wise I have sent numerous emails this morning to keep things moving as my solicitor is only part time so the weeks are passing far too quickly to meet our hopeful move date.
The freezer is being eaten down nicely, we're slowly getting there.
