    Morning :)

Well the agents came back with nothing interesting. I do begrudge paying them (on completion) when they do so little to sell! I've told them, come the weekend if there's no further interest then I am going to look to sell with another agent too and they can work together.

So today is my long day, have a few meetings to prepare for and lunch with Mam at 12. Struggling to stay motivated whilst I'm waiting to get a viewing however last night I cleared out 2 bins bags full of clothes for charity and gave the kitchen a once over. This morning I sorted the bathroom and the room in case someone calls at short notice. Also a load of clothes had dried so they are ready to iron tonight and I put the washer on to hang out on the clothes horse after work. I need to keep forcing myself to do things otherwise it will crack and fall down around me!

Well it was bound to happen, DH has started to get cold feet about the move. I am surprised it's taken so long. So tonight we had tea, hopped in the car and had a drive over to the house we're hoping to get. It's amazing. It reinforced my love for it. DH started worrying after someone said to him that the next village down to it (it's a hamlet) isn't very nice. It isn't, but it's as far away from us as the rough places round here are, so driving over there just helped put this in perspective for him.

The paddocks are overgrown - that's the other thing I noticed. They will need some maintenance as soon as we move in (should we be lucky enough to get it!).

    Afternoon diary landers.

Quite a productive day today. I've done what I had to get done this morning, had home made soup for lunch which was very nice, read up about looking after your paddocks during lunch and called about my car. It's not fixed as they can't replicate the problem. Typical. Tonight is yard and an hour's work.

Last night I finished the upstairs cupboard so that's sorted ready to pack now, should we get an offer on this place :) If not, it needed doing. I need to organise the downstairs cupboard too as it's become a dumping ground lately. If I get chance, I will do that tonight.

    Good Morning :)

Well my new amount owed is £25116 so I have smashed my sub £27k by end July goal. This of course is thanks to my wonderful Mum paying off my smallest cc. This is now paid and closed so is a matter of processing. I have happily cut the card up which has been sealed in a draw since it arrived. One small chapter of this debt free journey complete.

For July/Aug/Sept pay I am going to stick with the minimum amounts (that's £661 for loan and £100 for card, so not to be sniffed at) and save the residual that I would have sent as overpayments. I need some cash in the bank for when we move, even if it's not this year. If we get an offer on the house then I want to be able to pay certain fees and new bills without worrying. Then from October I'll start overpaying again if I've got a bit saved up.

House wise nothing's changed from the sale point of view. Last night I just hoovered round and did a bit of cleaning and washing. Tonight I will do .....nothing. :) Happy Friday!

Well they turned up which is better than the previous one lol. No idea if they liked it enough to put an offer in though - they seemed to like it, but were seeing a few in the area (within a 7 mile radius) so I don't expect any news for a couple of days or so. Now back to the waiting game. I'm tempted to call the agents but there's absolutely no point as if the buyer wants to make an offer they will do that without the agents chasing them up! We did all we could to get it ready for them so if they don't make an offer we don't think it's through anything we could have done differently.

I will keep you posted :D
