    Not bad going yesterday!

No kidlets (yet) or spare rooms in our flat - and I think it would be a bit much to take it upon myself to clean our housemate's room! So will do what I can and apply it to other rooms/areas...

The most important task first.. make time for yourself.. a haircut, manicure, or just a relaxing bath in peace!
    Strip, wash and replace bedding
    30 minutes to spare...
Sort through a box of toys/shelf/cupboard see if you can fit in some of the christmas stash
    Tidy a chest of drawers
Vacuum, even if it means kicking all the mess into a corner heap!
    Got an hour...
Binbag Dance.. fling those broken things and empty packaging!
Wash windows and sills, and curtains and blinds!
Make sure games are in boxes and books are straight on shelves
    Extras

    • Wash stinky pet beds/houses
    • Dust all the light fittings
    • Chase appointments/put off call and emails/catch up with a friend you have been putting off
    • Check when appointments are due for dentist, opticians, smears etc.. Make notes in diaries/calendars

1HC completed. Have hoovered and mopped all of downstairs, hall and stairs. Discovered the cats peed in the bag that holds the buggy rain cover grrrrrrrrrrr. So put that outside and washed it, then emptied th wm, td and airers and got the bag in the wash.
Double glazing man been and will do the window in 2 weeks. Cat area done and litter tray scrubbed out. Tidied front room.

Off for school run and footie now will see if I have any oomph left :D might do more later and try to get some of list done.

Must remember milk and bread on way home.

I didn't manage to get anything done yesterday, so I've started on yesterday's list today. The boys can do their rooms tomorrow and I will hoover round after. The wind is really getting up now, I didn't think our area was supposed to get it.

CloakroomDone! Missed this on Tuesday for some reason.
DS1's room Half done. I've decided to try a deeper clean while he's away.

Very successful shopping trip in town; as well as thermos flask, and pillow protectors, I also bought some clothes suitable for exercising in for not very much money. :D

I have also turned out all the bedlinen in the airing cupboard, sorted it into sets, and put each set in the pillow case. Then, removed several sets to go to charity shop. I think there's another set or two lurking with the sleeping bags used by DS2's friends when they sleep over.

There's something very cathartic about pruning a stuffed filing cabinet. *space*

Ooopps seem to have over done the me time and not much else.
    Pilates done
Food shops done (including nice little Mr L skirt for £2.49 which is short and stretchy, so perfect to wear under things like those expensive japanese tummy warmers).
    Hoover downstairs
Chatted to Mum on the phone, her op is sheduled for next Tuesday with 48 hours in IT planned
Sis popped in for a cuppa and kitten cuddle, decluttered a couple of charity things for her to drop off (she works at a hospice)
Planted some bulbs I bought really cheap before Christmas
Cut up some branches from christmas outside decorations

Off to collect DS1 and then on to dinner cooking.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Well my plans for admin went out the window when I decided to hang my dreamcatcher in my bedroom window and had to make a loomband bracelet to hang it from as the hook was too high up ;) I just finished that, when my gas man turned up to look at the boiler as he was sure the part he'd ordered which was changed by someone else was wrong and it was. He was here for an hour on the phone trying to get the right things ordered. Then when he left I was so hot and DD was on her way home, I decided to stand on the step and watch the workmen next door filling skip number 7 while I had a coffee until she got home. Had a bit of a chin wag with a couple of them about the state of the place, then they went off as they're finished for the week and will be back Monday as the place is in a worse then the council thought (25+ years of hoarding, no gas, no electric, no water for goodness knows how long!:eek:Didn't realise it was that bad).

Anyways, I've not achieved as much as I hoped, but I'm not worried as the place is clean and tidy. DD and I are going to have a lazy evening watching TV and eating pitta pizzas :p

    If its gone its done!
    Sat: No Ex, Town
Sun: Ex here, money to DD.

    Misc:
    Toots list
    Pocket money list
Clear 3 folders on harddrive back to laptop
Walk 7miles minimum for week - only 2 miles so far. Good job I'm planning on walking to and from town with DD tomorrow :rotfl:

    Monday ~ Kitchen
    mop the floors
Tuesday ~ Living/family room, hallway and stairs
    Wipe banister rails/paintwork
    Extras
    • Vacuum sofas.. don't forget under cushions!
Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing!

Thursday ~ Bathroom and study/pc area

    Friday ~ Childrens
DD's responsibility if she wants pocketmoney ;)
    15 minutes...
Strip, wash and replace bedding - Sunday job
    30 minutes to spare...
Vacuum, even if it means kicking all the mess into a corner heap!
    Extras
