Juliejim - is is you doing the email deleting? Don't you just have an option for delete all?

Anyhow, DH eventually got back from the paid stuff and we went for a meal but he was in too much pain for shopping so my clothing budget stays intact and my sock drawer stays empty.

Found four items to declutter today. Must focus on LR before the paid stuff tomorrow.

See you all on the new thread.

    Bathroom Done!

Lovely sunshine here, so I had a short trip to the allotment and collected some vegetables and dug over a small square. :D It's a start. I had thought it was going to be too wet to do anything, but it was okay.

After lunch, which was late as usual, I went downtown, mainly for a walk, and just bought a diary refill for my gardening diary, now that I feel like doing some more.

DD is still working in her essay, due in tomorrow, struggling with writing the introduction and conclusion. Uni tutor has supplied quite a prescriptive outline, which I think is hindering DD - she's not bad at essay writing! She has worked tremendously hard on it, and I think she's just had enough of it now. Treat this week I think!

Lamewolf Lots of positive good wishes coming your way.

LW - lots of posi-vibes coming your way :D

I have finally booked/paid for the shopping. £89 but should last us at least 2 weeks, and includes store cupboard stuff. I'm really trying to cut back food waste this year so I have some batch cooking planned. I might do another store shop for delivery Tues or Wed before my pass runs out, but I'll need to see how much space this lot takes up first :rotfl:

About to chase DD to make her bed while I put tea on and make my bed. Then I'll do the ironing. :o Its been one of those days where time was dragging but the last 2 hours have flown. Best get moving, the oven needs to heat up!

  • Evening all!

Posi-vibes for you LW - running on adrenaline is not good - a collapse is usually inevitable - hope you recover very, very soon.

Have decluttered a trip to the nearest big Mr T for stock cupboard stuff - they have some very good deals on at the moment - so cleaning stuff and toiletries are now stashed for several months!

After that we decluttered some more TV programmes - really enjoyed the Tim Rice and Victoria Wood with Michael Ball - had a little weep. Even DH watched it and enjoyed it whilst saying - it's not real life you know!!

Just off to do HHI!! Then more TV!

    Catch up later tomorrow. x

Have had a bit of down time today, much needed. Have still managed to do a fair bit of laundry, make scones and a bakewell tart as well as the soup and hm bread.

Got my finances up to date and now watching a bit of telly with a glass of wine. Oh and we are decluttering the rest of the of the Christmas chocolates!

    Hi ladies,

I haven't done much today either im afraid! Woke up at lunchtime and forced myself to get out of bed, otherwise I wont sleep tonight.

I collected DS, iced the cake we baked yesterday and am going through recipes trying to meal plan with everything I have in, but actually be inventive and not eat the same meals over and over...

the only problem I have is, I like to cooking to be easy! But tasty... and cookbooks and recipes don't seem to lend themselves to keeping things simple :)

  • Managed to clear ironing but can't take all the credit as hubby did his own bless him! !
Have got the understairs pantry on list - its been on there for months and my aim is to do it this week. It's only 4 shelves and the floor which has a veg rack and clutter on it - so thought one shelf a day to sort into ebay charity or just plain rubbish. I use it as an excess food cupboard and keep extra pots pans and stuff I don't use very often - some not for years so they've got to go.

If I finish early I'll try to get any stuff ready for free listing! !!!!!!!

Also need to start making plans to get spare bedroom ready for complete refurb so we can make it our room and we can convert our old room into guest room mainly for GS and GD. Our 3 yr old GS is now climbing out of cot when he stays, GDs probably ok for another year.

    Wish me luck☺

Gentle hugs LW you are duly prescribed a spoonful of positivity, to be taken as needed ;) and two measures of rest, every four hours. For the next week. :)

Well done juliejim I'm enjoying seeing your numbers shrinking!

Lots done here today, bedding laundry finished although some still finishing off in airing cupboard. DS had a wobble when his trains weren't working. There has been lots of tinkering this week - I wish they'd leave it alone it worked fine until new points and a level crossing were added. Anyway, I got the vac tools out and cleaned it, to work out the new control has 2 sockets and one was loose. Pushed back in an trains are mobile again. DS told to stop moving it around now, it's too delicate.

I've also made my bed, done 90min paid stuff and got stuff ready for morning. Despite having the weekend at home I feel quite rushed and frantic.

Printer still not playing, really need to get party invites out ASAP. Which also means another cake :(

Trundle bed still up in spare room which is a tip, but both kids are asleep in there at the mo  I think I'll just leave em. They can keep each other warm ;)
