I made soup.. and it's edible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Broccoli and Stilton.. we got stack of stilton as Christmas presents and had some sad looking broccoli in the fridge and some wilted spring onions and it is actually edible.. well, OH thinks so.. I hate cheese and broccoli but it isn't truly offensive even to me, I wouldn't willingly eat a bowl though.. *pleased* I've never made edible soup before!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Afternoon all.
DD was out with ex today, so I've knuckled down with the shopping list and its still not done :rotfl: I'm trying to pick the healthiest yet cheapest options and its a proper stock-up type shop so its taking a while. Doesn't help that I'm also trying to get the washing done (penultimate load in, which includes DD's quilt cover on its 4th wash  White bed covers and red felt tips don't mix well) and I've been catching up with my TV although I've now got the snooker on
Plan for the rest of today is to put this shopping order through, remake the beds, tea and chase DD to bed at 8pm as she's been really tired and I'd like an early night as well because I have a busy week ahead of me, although Monday and Friday are currently quiet, but knowing my luck something will happen :rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Folks, I've had to skim the last couple of days' posts, so I hope all is well with everyone.
Strange day yesterday; usual F&V run, plus a quick side-trip to B00ts for some chloroseptic spray. then I had to *gulp* Visit The Bank.
Basically, I have a fixed-term bond about to mature; last year, the options were:- Reinvest.
- Not reinvest
- Reinvest, adding some more to the sum invested.
Anyways, we seemed to be sat in there for aaaages, though they did sort out what I wanted, and *crosses fingers* it will all be done as I have asked. Trouble is my nerves got the better of me, and, long story short, when we got home, I collapsed.
I've been sleeping very badly for a long time in any case, running on caffeine, adrenaline and sheer bl00dy-mindedness, and it's caught up with me in rather dramatic fashion.
So I shall have to really try and pace myself this week - not helped by having an appointment with the audiologist tomorrow; my hearing aid has totally packed up, as in I cleaned it and put it away on the evening of December 16th, and when I put it in on December 17th, it didn't work. So I'm nervous about that, too.
If anyone's got a few spare posi-vibes, I'd appreciate them. I know there are folks with far worse to cope with, but the odd vibe or two would greatly help.;)
We have, I'm pleased to say, got all the regular weekend tasks done; and Mr LW has just sent off an email with some questions re the cruise we're meant to be going on in March (we're cruise rookies, so they may think they're daft questions, but if they do, that's hard luck).
Ooh yes, we got the bedlinen dry outdoors today.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Frog tackled. The photos on the laptop are all the place so got them sorted and into separate files. It's been on my list for ages.

Got most of the bedding dry outside before the rain. Rest is on radiators. Sorted DD2's room. Sorted loads of stuff in our room. 1 binbag for charity shop and 1 for the bin. Bin collection day tomorrow - we shall be hunting for bins with space in locally tonight.....
Have a good evening folks...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
LW posi calming vibes to you sweetie, having a bit of a wobble myself so you are in good company.
Obviously bedding day in the land of fly, I've done two and almost dried them on the line too.
DR cupboard sorted, got rid of a few bits to bin and scrap store bags. Could sort out all the pens and donate some of those too, another day.
Washed up, fed the mogs and cooking DS3's dinner, Sunday's are bitty now with cricket nets at different times for the boys.
DH has been frog munching, he is over at a neighbour's now helping with their phone/pc.
I'll do the new list in a bit after dinner and I want to get the ironing done this evening too.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
