    Mummyroys, well done!
    Elastic, enjoy the vino.
    Valli, meh about car.
    Bossy, ginger buns? Mmmmm.
Dusty, did you ever get a pair of shoes which fit? DD had a tantrum in town because I won't buy her the miss sixty trousers again as they ripped from crotch to knee in a week last time and they look flipping awful. Suggestions for where to get some decent ones would be appreciated!
Jo, how awful for you. What have your union said? I have had complaints made against me a couple of times over the years and it's awful. We all get the ones about theft by confused patients but they're easy to disprove. I recently had a not very nice patient who had a massive go at me and said I was off with him because he was on drugs. I then explained to him that I don't treat people differently because of why they're in and that I was different with him because he was rude. ALL the time!

Didn't get as much done as I wanted to because DS blocked the Hoover with a cloth. Infernal child. That can be done in the morning now.

    Night all xx

    Morning all

Kaz, yes we got some he liked and fitted, but they rubbed his feet the first day back, school rang me at break to say he ws in tears (so hormonal) so he wore his trainers and has had his old school shoes on (so glad I had not recycled them) for the last 3 days. He wore them indoors yesterday for an hour and I'll have him doing the same today a couple of times. They look fine, don't slip so not sure why it happened. No help with troussers I'm afraid. The school where I'm a gov changed uniorm 2 years ago and skirts and troussers have to be brought from 2 suppliers with school logo on so now no choice, parents and pupils on the whole very pleased to have had the choice taken away.

Going to sort litter trays, WM is on, and have a shower and then I think I'll start sorting the DR just doing a little at a time so as not to create a mess again.

I confess I watched TV to catch up from Xmas and New Year (no tv then ) and read for most of yesterday - DSis has passed on the Jeffrey Archer books and I have been reading the third since 5.00 am and have just finished it!!!! I feel so naughty! Today I'd like to start my knitting for DH but feel the need to do some flying.

Washer on and DH has WUDUPA. Off to the shops for some bits today and must ring Dsis for the fourth book - if she has finished it!!!

Good Luck sorting the DR dusty, I love doing stuff like that, shifting rooms etc :) OH wants to buy me a desktop pc off Gumtree because this tablet is no good for my neck, plus its just a big mobile really so a lot of things I cant get on etc, anyway lol Im deciding where to put it cos I aint got a lot of room, im thinking my bedroom will be best, its just for me so itll be like a little mam hub lol

Kifchen stuff sorted, CB Hash in SC, recycling out.

JTTOU Its just one I bung in and amounts are by eye, but I try to do equal amounts of everything, enough to fill my SC......

1 tin of corned beef ....diced
    potatoes....diced
fresh carrots...sliced or 1 large tin
onion (1large or 2 small) chopped
    1 beef stock cube
cracked black pepper and sea salt to taste

bung it all in, cover with water, for mine its a pyrex jug full just enough to cover, cook on high for min 6 hrs and add dumplings 1 hr before serving, then I add gravy granules to thicken, goes lovely with pickled red cabbage and crusty bread.

Need to go and make OHs sarnies for work so theyre done, and try and make myself look presentable, hahahahaha xx

    Morning ladies

Not posted for a few days so some updating of lists and posts will be done later as if I try and do it now I will still be in dressing gown until after lunch.

Todays plan is make myself presentable, small food shop (payday's not until next thursday  ), collect next order from store, sort some more stuff for cat sanctuary, general tidy through including any bits I can do from list, check with DH if he wants to go out for tea for his birthday today or if he wants anything special for dinner at home, walk dog at some point, bath dog at some point - she is beginning to stink and needs a hair cut, oh and completely empty and sort the fridge - there is a horrible smell in there and we cannot work out what it is so it will need to be everything else and a clear out to investigate.

Any tips on how to convince DH that we need to have a cat. Someone has posted on one of the FB pages a really lovely 9 month old kitten that I would love. Its an indoor cat which is perfect for where we are on a main road, its a cross between a rag doll and british blue (which I have had before and they are lovely cats), it only has 1 eye and is called Mittens. I would so love to be able to give it a new home but he is saying no :( . How do I convince him especially as its 40 miles away so couldnt really go and see it and then come back to think about whether to go ahead.

Right I better go now he is getting up, goodness knows what time he went to bed, he is still trying to sort the programme on the computer for his dashboard camera and is being a right misery about it!
