    Well done mummyroys x

Quite a lazy day here. Behaviour much improved from ban on computerised time ;) I went out last night, was a late one but loads of fun, so needed a quiet day today.

Done a bit of laundry, made ginger buns with the kiddies and they've tidied their bedrooms. Was bath and early night for both as they've had 2 late-ish nights as well.

I've tidied kitchen and LR and wiped round everywhere. Vac will be out in morning and all beds need doing too.

Roofer still not returned call so must chase him this week.

I'm done for tonight other than laid in bed writing a meal plan, got some steak out to defrost, so that's Sunday dinner decided.

    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!
    Hiya everyone

Valli - sorry about your car :(

CY - well done on spotting the fraud so quickly it could have been terrible  and I hope you enjoy the 'I'm sorry..' tonight

Mummyroy - congrats on the high marks for your assignment

Quiet day here. Was going to go shopping but it started snowing and so put off until tomorrow - gave me a chance to do week's menu and shopping list at leisure instead of my usual dash, so might actually remember everything this week :rotfl:

So I've spent the day just pottering and planning.

I've done some sorting in the food cupboards, freezers and stock cupboard. I have also been looking through some recipes so can use up some stock but make some different meals to the usual fare.

I have sorted all the recycling ready to take to the recycle point tomorrow and put some things in bags to go to the cs.

I sorted the hotspot on my desk and now the piles are just one to file and one to shred. The hotspots in the rest of the house are all cleared and now have one heap of things on DR table to read/tackle tomorrow and Monday.

I have been through all my emails and deleted/filed as needed and have four to answer for Monday, so will do tomorrow.

Now just about to declutter a glass of wine so 'cheers' and hope you all have a super Sunday.

Evening all. Another cushion cover made and the usual tea making stuff and washing up out of the way. If any of you are wondering why this cushion making is taking me so long, here are the reasons:

I can only find time to do this at weekends
I decided to cover the cushions with a cream based fabric, LittleyDog decided to cover the cushion covers with mud
So am now using a different fabric which will be easier to keep clean but takes longer to stitch
I'm not using my sewing machine, I am testing myself by hand stitching the entire covers using 'invisible' stitches

    Two more to go.

Tomorrow though, I am planning a day in York with DH after the usual gym and walking dogs etc. Valli, I am going to get some of the Lakeland mould stuff, thanks for the tip. Also need to buy socks...lots of them and we're going to have Sunday lunch out.

Catch you all in the morning.

    Oh MummyRoy, well done.
Spend less now, work less later.

I am still around, just pottering about in the background. I have done the basics in most rooms and will do a bit more in depth next week. I did have a major breakthrough though when I got rid of the boxes of contact lenses I will never use in the bathroom. I have been keeping them just in case but being realistic I won't use them so they have gone:j

Hugs to all those having a tough time.

    mummyroys Fabulously well done!:j

Dinner cooked and eaten, and I've made a large pan of soup as well. While I was waiting for it to start bubbling, I decluttered one large bag of school stuff from my bedroom, and another of new towels - these are now in the airing cupboard (in the space created by removing several unused sets of duvet covers). I've been lurking on one of the hoarding/decluttering threads - can you tell? :p

Valli Sorry to hear about the car.

Bah I am on taxi duty. Hubby hardly ever goes out but it's a mates birthday so he has gone into town and I said I will pick him up. I can't relax because I know at some point the phone will go and I will have to put my coat on and go out into the cold to get him.

So I have done the ironing and hoovered the whole house. I am now contemplating washing the kitchen and bathroom floors. Might as well be doing something useful!

Well done mummy Roy! You must be well chuffed!

Hi all, didn't feel like I had done a lot today but as I am laying here thinking about it, I actually have.

Went for a run this morning. Got soaked! Had showers and chill out time. All the wet stuff went in the wm so ended up doing three loads! Three more to do tomorrow! Then gave the bedroom a good going over. I can see the floor! So it got a good hoovering too! Then sorted out make up bag and the little chest of deawers,in the bathroom. Threw lots of stuff away! I was very ruthless! How many little bottles of body lotion. Hubby went to put his socks away and complained he can't get anything in it. So he decided to sort through it! Lots of old socks decluttered!
I went shopping to aldi at 5pm and they had hardly any fruit and veg! So I nipped to our local tesco at 7pm. Got a few bits and they were reducing the bread down. Got loads of rolls, paninis, bread, hot cross buns etc all for 8p- 14p each! Bargain!

Anyway here is my reduced list!

Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing!
    Strip, wash and replace bedding
    Dust and deweb.

Thursday ~ Bathroom and study/pc area
    Scrub bath, loo, sinks, showers
    shine those taps and mirrors
Get those christmas 'Thank you's' sent out!- just a few left!

    Friday ~ Childrens/spare rooms
Vacuum, even if it means kicking all the mess into a corner heap!
    Got an hour...

I have my mum coming round at 11 to help me get ready for the party. My aim is to wash the bedding and do the bathrooms before she gets here!
