I hope I can keep up this momentum as there are 12 filing cabinets to do at work and another 1 at home. Then airing cupboard, my wardrobe., etc etc and I really want to do the books to amazon thing.

...and that doesn't include the books!

(((Hugs))) Jo - hope everything gets sorted quickly.

GWS vibes to pigpen and OH.

Bossy, please give yourself a pat on the back from me for the wonderful way you are helping both the little Moos to develop into the sort of children that I always enjoyed having in my class when I was a teacher (many many moons ago) :T

I have umpteen unused "favourites" links and about 600 emails in half an hour this afternoon. My computer has heaved a sigh of relief :D
This evening I have been to choir and really enjoyed it - Bach, so very challenging but extremely satisfying when we get it right :)

Tomorrow is another day; let's hope it's a better one.

Pigpen - I'm  for you!

Mumto5 - huge hugs to you xx

Jo - Hope it turns out to just be a formality! Hugs to you too.

Well I've had a productive "office" day :D Managed to catch up with all my work, and then spent some time working on my household note book. Mainly I updated information sheets that were last done in 2005! DD knows if anything was to happen and she needed to know how to turn the water off, how to reset the breakers on the fuse box, how to turn the gas off, or anything medical (like my allergies, national insurance number which they use in the hospitals etc) then its all contained in this one folder on its own sheet ;) Having ended up in A&E myself twice in recent years, I figured it was time to update them so DD knew, and I could take ex off as my next of kin, changing it back to my mum! Ex and I only split in 2007, and he moved out in 2008  I have left him on DDs medical sheet though ;)

I also took the opportunity to move files around, print out random stuff including recipes, print some more "excuse DD from PE because" letters (I have the basic letter typed out and then it goes "...from PE for..............because ................................... " and I fill the dotted lines in as appropriate, add the date and my signature, and the letter is 80% legible despite being written in a minute or less usually lol) and move videos from my external hard drive back onto my laptop. I'm very pleased with my progress today, and may attempt some more tomorrow ;)

While I was at it I also managed to clear the washing piles, all 6 loads! Tomorrow I'll iron ;)

    If its gone its done!
So my list is looking like this:
    Fri: Books to school/D
    Sat: No Ex
Sun: Ex here, money to DD.

    Misc:
    Toots list
Walk 7miles minimum for week (Set myself a target of walking 365 miles this year ;)) 1.2miles for work as DD was helping & it was done in one trip instead of 3 or 4!

    Monday ~ Kitchen
    mop the floors
    Wash the units and appliances.
Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
    Extras

    • Thoroughly clean a small appliance (descale kettle/decrumb toaster for example)
Tuesday ~ Living/family room, hallway and stairs
    Wipe banister rails/paintwork
    Extras
    • Vacuum sofas.. don't forget under cushions!
Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing!
    Got an hour...
Wipe over paintwork and window sills
    Extras
    • Dust and deweb with one arm :p!!!
Thursday ~ Bathroom and study/pc area
    Extras
    • Clean radiators.. don't forget the back (sock on a stick/coat hanger!)
Friday ~ Childrens DD's responsibility if she wants pocketmoney ;)
    15 minutes...
The most important task first.. make time for yourself.. a haircut, manicure, or just a relaxing bath in peace! - Holby with a coffee and maybe a slice of cake ;)
Strip, wash and replace bedding - Sunday job
    30 minutes to spare...
    Tidy a chest of drawers
Vacuum, even if it means kicking all the mess into a corner heap!
    Got an hour...
Binbag Dance.. fling those broken things and empty packaging!
Wash windows and sills, and curtains and blinds!
Make sure games are in boxes and books are straight on shelves
    Extras
    • Dust all the light fittings
    • Chase appointments/put off call and emails/catch up with a friend you have been putting off
    • Check when appointments are due for dentist, opticians, smears etc.. Make notes in diaries/calendars
Okay, time for me to head to bed. Hopefully I'll be able to get up before 7.30 tomorrow since my alarm goes off at 6am!

I've been awake for an hour :( despite being so tired last night that my eyes kept shutting whilst I was trying to read :o. TD is on but haven't put WM on as I don't want to wake anyone. Laundry baskets (clean and dirty) are both overflowing. Will sort out the ironing and folding in a moment. Perhaps put the lamp on and start sorting out some socks. It popped into my mind that I have no knickers or bras or socks for today so I really do need to get on and fold some up :o.
Have decided to keep on with ironing. It just makes life easier if I iron items and hang them straight away, I can then go and put them straight into the wardrobe. At least they aren't then just dumped in bedrooms.

DD's cadet trousers are twirling at present so I will have to youtube that later to remind myself how to iron them. Can you tell they don't often come for washing? She's over the moon, she is going sailing with cadets on Sunday. Every Summer she starts banging on about wanting a wetsuit. This year, I have found an amazing website and they had wetsuits (shorty styles) for £47.99. So I got hold of my sister and cousin and Aunty and asked them all to chip in to a wetsuit for her for Christmas rather than something else. She was so happy she screamed when she opened it!

Right, finish my coffee, get some folding done and then perhaps move on to some more silent jobs. Dusting maybe?

    Morning everyone.

Managing to keep with the lists quite well this week. I'm at my voluntary job today but will do a bit of pottering at the weekend. I won't be going anywhere looking at the weather forecast.

Will start dailies before I go out and do 10 minutes on the wii

I'm doing another challenge this year. I've stopped eating chocolate for a year and putting a pound each day I don't have any in a big. It will go to charity. It's been nearly a week up to now.

bossy It was no bother. Thank you.
    Jo Hugs.

There was someone else I wanted to mention but brain has gone.

Hugs, spoons, sticks and healing vibes where needed.

    Morning All

Well I managed to do all my paperwork last night then had a bath (read a book while I was in there) and then at 9.10 asked DD what time it was and thought I'd better get out seeing as I'd got to pick DS up from Scouts at 9.30!

Not finishing work until 2.30 today and then I pick the kids up and take them to my M&D's so I probably won't be home until 3.30 then I'll be going to my M&D's for tea so won't have time to do a lot tonight.

However the TD is on, I'm just going to load the WM and then do the dinners so I'll be making a start.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning all. I've not had time to catch up with the thread so hugs, spoons etc where needed.

I was a bit too optimistic about what could be achieved in the bedroom yesterday morning, so only changed the bedding and hoovered behind the bed. So this morning, I will find something to declutter and do HHI before dog walking and paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.
