I totally agree with what pigpen said to you Jo, sending hugs and hope that it will soon be sorted and that everyone at the meeting will see through the lies being told and the false accusations being made. Hugs.

Claming vibes heading your way pigpen you sound at the end of your tether.

Oh jo that sounds awful - really hope it's all dealt with quickly and the accuser gets their karma in return xxx

pigpen I hope things pick up for you, too, what a rotten time xxx

Well. Beavers was a hit with DS. He's very excited, I can hear him chattering away about dodgeball and trips and camping lol. He did me proud, really. 18mths ago he would have hidden under a chair and not looked at anyone, much less speak to them. But a slightly older boy was sent over to be his buddy, who was really friendly and they were soon giggling and telling what their favourite sweets were :D

It's hard for DD - she's a bit small to join in with the physical stuff, but I'll plan around it - there is another little girl the same age who is also there most weeks so hopefully they will make friends.

It's in the school hall, so familiar place. Saw his class teacher leaving, gone 7pm. Bless her. All kudos to her, she has read my comments in his reading record, and moved him up a level after having him read to her - I do like a teacher who listens to parents. I don't know what I'm talking about but it's good to know she will take notice and do something about it if she agrees.

Anyway, waffle over, I'm declaring a state of emergency. I've opened mushy peas and I can't find the mint sauce. Tis the end of the world...

Big hugs to all suffering today, whether it be lost ones or car crashes or not feeling 100%

DS2 back from school, I've asked about burn marks in his bedroom carpet, and he very proudly told me they were a science experiment, involving the sun and a magnifying glass!! So I asked why there were too, and he answered with "to check he was right and it wasn't a fluke"

At this point, i'm afraid I really set the side down and I LAUGHED! I know I should have told him off, but he told me the truth straight away and he was so proud of what he'd achieved and his little face is so innocent and cute

I have however, pointed out all the dangers and suggested next time he tries outside with some dry wood on a nice day.

I'm now the coolest mum ever for coming up with such a suggestion :)
Good grief this so reminds me of my DS1 who made some spectacular messes in the house with his experiments, he moved onto V terrifying stuff before he finally realised he needed to make a career out of it and became a Chemical Engineer! Farmings loss is oil industry gain....possibly!

    Have fun.

Farm boys are notorious! But such fun.

I have shredded so much today I have a thumb blister from holding down the button. 45 bin bags of shredding ready for recycling and DS2 burnt some other papers at home. Farm paperwork is a mountain weekly and we keep everything for years. Had a really good sort out.
Also attacked office cupboard with the shredder and cleared stuff there since 2012.

I hope I can keep up this momentum as there are 12 filing cabinets to do at work and another 1 at home. Then airing cupboard, my wardrobe., etc etc and I really want to do the books to amazon thing. I used to be an avid book purchaser as we have no access to a library and only just realised that I now look up recipes/facts etc.

2015 the year of the declutter.

Well it appears OH and I have some form of wibbly tummy from somewhere.. I might just go to bed and pray tomorrow takes its time coming! I'm utterly fed up.. easy to see why the alcoholic binges and suicide rates soar in January!

  • I think farm paperwork is hellish. One department wants you to keep it for so many years, another for a different amount of years, I never know what to keep and what to get rid of, so end up keeping everything.

I do do all paperwork on a Monday if I can, but doesn't always happen, always get called out to help on farm lol.

I managed to clear another 3 bin bags from forgotten computer room today for charity, I reckon one more day of clearing and I will have a complete clear floor, then just drawers and cupboards to sort next week :)

Sorry I have been missing. Have been chasing a large BD around.

My niece had a pink type baby on Monday. I discovered this news on FB.

I have been to see a dear friend who has been very poorly. She needs further ops but hopefully that will sort things. fingers crossed x

DS1 bed changed, DS2 bed changed, towels washed. laundry basket emptied. Dailies done.

    Hugs Jo x

I'm so stupid. I never realised about farm paperwork. Seems obvious now.

Mrs MP Sorry for your loss x
Ionafan Coping vibes for your friend and her son. Hugs for you too x

Narco how are you coping today?

Not too bad thanks. Have altered horse routine slightly as I just can't get back in the swing of getting up early; means dropping in at yard twice a day but it's on my way to uni and no great hardship so long as I remember to keep my wellies in the car and not just my beautiful new (half price in sale) mauve suede boots!

Had 4 students at uni and have 2 tomorrow. Just got a booking for an assessment at the end of the month, which is good.

Made further inroads into tax return paperwork, it's amazing how inconsistent I can be with recording details.

Dropped in to town on way home to pay in a cheque that's been lurking for a while losing interest. Picked up a couple of goodies from the bakery while I was there, in the hope of tempting OH.
He's not bad today but very down; says he's sick & tired of being sick & tired. However he pounced on one of the fresh sausage rolls as soon as I got home, and ate the other one for dinner later. Not tried the custard tart yet. :( Baby steps. Sat down to watch Mama Mia with him as thought it might be a bit of light relief (no no nothing to do with Pierce B).

    Made some carrot soup.

Not much real flying although keep catching sight of cobwebs.

Paperwork ready for uni tomorrow then bed I think.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
