LW - saw this and thought of you and Mr LW :rotfl:

Hmmmm..... I can just see the scenario if we had Dave the Yorkie staying, (he sleeps on the bed) or one of the others who have their bed in our room at night......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ionafan posi-vibes for your friend; I hope it all works out as well as possible, given the circumstances.

Piggers oh no, what an absolute pain in the bum. No wonder your OH was gone a long time.:(
Glad to hear that Cracker is doing ok; I'll keep the posi-vibes going for him.

    Mumto5 (((HUGS)))

I still feel rough; if this is a cold, I wish it'd either come out properly as a cold and have done with, or else give up and go away. I'm fed up of feeling bunged up and headachey.

On a better note, the physio-terrorist says I don't need to see her any more, unless I get a setback; she's said I'm to do the exercises she's given me at least 5 days each week forever, but that's easy enough; also remember to put splints on for tasks like vacuuming. I have to see the consultant again on 22nd January.

Small Frog eaten; letter written to friend I used to work with. It's her birthday next week, so I've tucked it in with her card. I'm not very good at those sort of "chatty" letters, as I can't imagine anyone being that interested in anything I have to say.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all

Returned a load of stuff to the shops
    Ironing done
    WMx2 done
    Bin washed out

Kittens smashed a bowl and made a right mess so cleaned part of the kitchen floor.

Mumto5 hugs sweetie, that is pants.

    Ionafan thinking of your friend

Narco how are you coping today?

I've done my declutter mission, small cupboard sorted, book for charity and a few tatty bits binned.

Off to sort dinner and see if I need to pick DS3 up.

  • Big hugs to all suffering today, whether it be lost ones or car crashes or not feeling 100%

DS2 back from school, I've asked about burn marks in his bedroom carpet, and he very proudly told me they were a science experiment, involving the sun and a magnifying glass!! So I asked why there were too, and he answered with "to check he was right and it wasn't a fluke"

At this point, i'm afraid I really set the side down and I LAUGHED! I know I should have told him off, but he told me the truth straight away and he was so proud of what he'd achieved and his little face is so innocent and cute.

I have however, pointed out all the dangers and suggested next time he tries outside with some dry wood on a nice day.

I'm now the coolest mum ever for coming up with such a suggestion :)

Aww mumto5 what an awful day to get through xxx

DS attitude much improved, aided I think by instant-food-on-table situation after school ;)

DW emptied, kitchen tidied, downstairs all vacced, new tablecloth put out, shopping done and unpacked, parcel collected. DD entertained.

Beavers is 6.30 till 7.45  we'll pay for that tomorrow!

(((Hugs)) to mumto5 - tough for you.

Calming vibes to pigpen and OH re car, but very pleased to hear good news of Cracker.

Go for it, gal! It will be worth all the effort.

Visited my friend briefly this afternoon with DH just before I went to orthopaedics for another injection in my shoulder. She was noticeably more relaxed - having morphine delivered constantly through the pump has clearly made a huge difference to her pain over the past 48 hours :)

Not much flying done today, but I'm feeling almost human again and may manage to drive to choral society this evening :D

I'm sorry for all the Flyladies having a hard time.. I've just had a quick skim I'm afraid...

I opened a letter yesterday afternoon inviting me to a meeting... Ive been accused of something awful and spent a lot of time making phone calls, looking for representation and crying... Hopefully the hearing turns out to be a formality but the whole process and being accused of something you haven't done is horrible.

I have stood at the ironing board though whilst ive been contemplating life, the wickedness of some people and how to deal with this... So my ironing basket is looking much better... not empty, but better.

I did hoover through the house at one point and have kept up on the kitchen - which was easy since I didn't really eat until now.
